Well I bought a Stern Nineball for $100 a couple weeks back ... just got around to cleaning out cabinet and when I lifted the playfield to vacuum the cab I saw something shiney next to a stick in back of the cab under wire harness.

I'm no jewelry expert but it seems to be a real diamond ring.

I don't know what flips me out more, finding a ring in a pinball machine or a Stern Nine Ball for $100?

You should at least try to find out if that is the sellers ring. Could have more sentimental value that it is ever worth.

As soon as the game was loaded on its side , saw something gray shuffling around inside.

They have manual transmissions in pinball games?

#15 3 years ago

Yup, around these parts we call them “woodrails”

Ring turned out to be costume
But I took in some other stuff I found over the years and had a diamond bracelet that I sold for $578
