Quoted from PtownPin:zero chance I would buy another game from CGC unless they had them in stock and ready to ship. It's painful waiting almost two years for a game with ZERO communication.
I don't blame you. 2 years is a little ridiculous. If it's good I'm going to trade for one as soon as I can though. How long do you think I have to wait?

The should be SEs in stock now at many dealers. There are a number of LEs in the marketplace though at a premium. There may be a few SE+ slots left but those won’t finish for a while. If the LE bling and/or a topper isn’t critical trade for/buy an SE.

jfh is correct on the CCR SE's, but I think you're asking about CCG's new game?....on that question Its anyones guess. One of the possible reasons for the poor CCR LE builds is they are allocating resources to the new game (no idea if thats true or not). All I know is if they have not pre built a shit ton of PF games the wait could be a very long time. Upon release CCG distributors will gladly take your $, but be prepared to wait with zero communication.
Strange that CGC is partnering with another manufacturer. I’m curious to hear what the arrangement is.
Also, This would seem to suggest that PPS will not be contracting Raw Thrills to produce one of the remakes.
CGC partnering with another manufacturer (if true) may be very telling. Originally they may have thought that they could build any machine if they had access to the IP to do so, just feed in a title and parts will flow. But this is a labor-intensive game, and producing quality results at scale is hard. They may not have the staff/skill/capacity that they thought they had 2-3 years ago.

Who are they partnering with?
I may be wrong, but to me this looks similar to WhizBang Pinball (Dennis Nordman and Greg Freres) designing Elvira's House of Horrors and it being built by Stern. Mark Ritchie at Raw Thrills designed a Pulp Fiction pinball and CGC will build it. Raw Thrills hasn't assembled pinball machines and CGC has previously only built Bally/Williams remakes from existing designs (with modernized electronics).

I'm hoping that Raw Thrills has been following the CCR shit show and puts in a contingency plan if they go off rail...
Hoping for customer service from RawThrills at the very least communicated to distros so your not just left hanging .
I bet we see actual TZ later with an updated set of dots and extended/enhance rules. I gotta think with Josh helping with CC, now doing rules on Pulp Fiction, that it would be him. I feel like I've heard him state in an interview how he has a love hate with TZ. Loves the mechs, hates the way the rules use the mechs.

Cool thought !
Hope so ...
Just not made by CGC ...
Or perhaps they will announce at TPF and advise its coming after CCR is done and PF is done and then wait years for the build.
Never again , terrible Company to deal with ....
I'm only allowed to purchase an Adams Family remake from CGC, with no consultation, no warning, and no bullshit. After buying MBrLE, AFrLE is the only one we have agreed would be a instant buy, and if it included additional rules, code, dots, or sounds would be a no brainer for me. Since CGC is looking to run 2 production lines going forward, I'm figuring after CC we see another remake on that line... initially MMrRE most likely as a source of short term cash, which allows them to finish PF, then onto next new original or licenced title and next remake for PPS. If I was a betting man, thats what I think is coming. But it all depends on PF sales, and how many pinheads want a 25 year old movie franchise as a centerpiece in their gameroom. Theres a lot of choice out there right now, not sure how many are looking CGC's way after the CC meltdown, but Im guessing that was more CGC focusing on PF than anything else. My MBrLE is rock solid.
Quoted from transprtr4u:Never again , terrible Company to deal with ....
Talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse…AfM and MB were awesome, rock solid. Didn’t even need customer support.
With Cactus Canyon it’s been delays, lies, broken promises and no response at all for months on end. No more CGC for me. I’ve lost total faith in anything they say. Promised a solution to my leg/damaged decal problem and never followed through. Now they won’t even answer a call, email or acknowledge a service ticket.

Huh, I didn't know you felt that way.

Your ticket situation sucks. I would call CGC and ask to speak with Ryan directly.
As for CCr yes there were delays because of vendor issues. Lies and broken promises is a bit unfair. AFAIK, they didn’t lie about anything regarding production. They certainly could have been more communicative but their quality is still second to none.

The standard CGC line ...
Great builds so they can do whatever they want ...

Sounds like he had the leg/decal problem so if CGC said they would take care of etc. Then that's where the lie could come from. Just my guess
But hey if you never put out any communication or customer service, then you are never telling lies.
I honestly wish they would communicate with at least the distributors. Then I could get an answer on when Canada will get thier machines. I've heard through "rumors" of fall of 2023 to spring of 2024. My distributor said no idea, but heard that same "rumor" is it true?? Who knows.
I would accept LEs being late due to (Insert unofficial answer here). And Canada will get thier machines "approximately" (pick a day between tomorrow and 2032) but the lack of any communication is ridiculous in my opinion
Quoted from VGC1612:I heard they gonna do a 3rd run of MM,true?Because im gonna have to choose between that and PF
CGC said that they would be doing another MMr run in "early 2023", but that was a long time ago - before all their troubles with getting CCr shipped.
It is unclear if MMr is still in the plans or not. Hopefully there will be some info released at TPF in about 10 days.

Exactly where the broken promises came from. They agreed on a fix for the decal and cabinet damage the over crimped legs caused and agreed a form of compensation and then didn’t follow through. Since the agreement, which I have in writing via email directly from Ryan, the promise has not been delivered upon and he has gone silent. No return calls, no response to tickets or emails. Make a promise and not follow through and then go silent…That’s for cowards.

Well, then I agree with your characterization. That’s totally unacceptable, unprofessional and indefensible.

Refreshing ... thank you!

Agreed. I don’t know what the proposed resolution was but something easily done is just some monetary compensation. I got a dryer delivered that had a scratch (and a small one at that) and they said we can send a new one or take 10% off. I took the 10%, resolved in 2 min with one phone call to the appliance dealer. Doesn’t seem hard!

I spoke with Jim from CGC at TPF. He says that they still are planning a run of MMr "near the end of the year".

Well, I sort of assumed he meant this year...but now that I think about it, he really didn't say...

Quoted from Norcalpin:May that come to fruition in the distant future?
Quoted from Norcalpin:A pal who supposedly knows someone at CGC says TAF will be remade. May that come to fruition in the distant future?
When I purchased my MBSE I had to contact CGC tech support for a couple small things. The support was great, I called them and got right through. The tech I spoke with was very personable so we chatted a little about my games. At the time I had TAF and was talking to him about selling it. He wouldn't come out and say exactly what was coming up but did say there's going to be some announcement next year and don't sell it. He was pretty clear on advising me to hold on to my TAF. I took it as TAF remake was in the works and even asked him more than once but he couldn't say anything, that was 10/2021.

Interesting take on that. So, his reasoning is that if a remake is released the price of the OG goes up? I thought it may have been the opposite. OG MM or MB aren't fetching what the LE or Royal models are selling for.

When MMR first came out, originals took a bit of a hit, then they ticked back up when people complained about the remakes not playing as well... Then remakes and their availability drove overall demand, and prices of both have ticked up steadily together. MM used to be an even rarer unicorn than it is today.
The increased features and reported build quality have made the MMRs (I think) more desirable in the long run, but the value of the originals has definitely seen benefit from the remakes.

Hanging on to it makes no sense if it was to be remade, no?
Maybe CGC and now RawThrills will be building updates hardware/software to change the rules?
Guys a licensed theme that they produced over 20,000 of... I just don't know why they'd remake it vs something else. You can get an Adams family if you want right now. Not super cheap for how many are supposedly out there. But they originally produced over 20X as many as the last game they chose to remake, Cactus Canyon. And they have not remade a licensed theme yet.
To me, seems like ToM, CV, and ToTAN would be much more likely candidates based on these two reasons. I think they could even sell more MM, AFM, MB after that because the demand still seems to be there (and they've already done it, so a lot less work). Personally would love to see CftBL. but that one is still pretty easy to get.
Quoted from transprtr4u:[quoted image]
2023 - Balance of CCR's
2024 - All PF's (if their lucky)
2025 - Maybe some new title ?
Quoted from Sorokyl:And they have not remade a licensed theme yet.
Well, MBr was licensed from Universal, and the licensing was part of what delayed its release (supposedly). So they do have some experience there (not to mention the new Pulp Fiction).
Whether it makes sense to license AF is another question, but I'm sure they are not avoiding it because "they haven't done a licensed theme".
Quoted from BOBCADE:No thanks on a ratted out TAF for 10k, I'll wait for a remake. Think of the lighting possibilities they will add too.
Adams family, meh. Pass.
Played in the 90s never liked it, played again recently didnt like. Doesnt have the one more game feel to it for me, never did.
Great sounds and call outs but the game sucks.
Attack from mars, MM… different story. Addictive!

Jim said they have two lines going now.
I assume that one is doing CCr, and the other is doing PF.
That would free up a line to do the MMr run when CCr is complete.

I think there's only like 4-5 of us in existence.
