Molly's a great name to yell for her to come. That's usually how I name a pet.
Love Bassett hounds. Parents had one named Allis after the tractor and one before that named Belle. Here's some pics of Allis.

If you look at a photo of my father and myself when we were both my sons age (20), all 3 look identical...

This is FlufferNugget (Nugget for short). He’s been a pretty awesome pup so far. He came home with us about 2 months ago.

Inky Knievel, and we got him June 21st. Left work at 11:45pm, went home to bed, got up 1.5 hours later, took a shower, and drove to Tennessee to get him. Drove home that night. 18 hours, 46 minutes and 1013 miles total for the journey....

There’s nothing better than a dog for a best friend.
I had dogs almost all of my life. They become family like a kid. I lost my last two, four days apart, a couple of years ago.
They grew on me so much, I haven’t been able to replace them.
There’s nothing better than having something so loyal, and always there for you, no matter what happens.
Animal lovers, are some of the best people I know.

Just an update on Reagans condition...she is in day 58 of a 63 day gestation...she is the size of a blimp and seems very uncomfortable, she also seems kinda pissed that she has to go through this...
If you put your hands on her tummy you can feel several pups squirming around, we have a vet appointment today to find out how many pups there are.
We expect delivery to be Tuesday but anything can happen now...

All very true what you said. Take a trip to your local animal shelters and find you a new best friend, you won't regret it.
Reagan woke me up at 4AM this morning, first stage of labor has started...cleared most of the bedding out of the whelping box and just trying to make her comfortable...this is our first canine pregnancy, my wife and I have done our homework and are prepared but to be honest I am hoping the dog does what she is supposed to and all we have to do is moniter the process.
The X-rays showed 6-8 pups...
