I'm also in the camp of doing away with free games in most cases it seems like an outdated idea left over from the EM era.

I posted that according to the US Government cost of living index, the 1981 50¢ per play should have gone to 75¢ in 1991.
The price didn't go up. Pins and vids ( except the big sit down moving contraptions ) were stuck at 50¢ during the 1990's.
