from what i've gathered at our local brewery that has machines...

    - STAR WARS (far and away the best earning game. stealing dollars from children since day one)
    - Ghostbusters
    - Guardians of the Galaxy
    - JJP Pirates
    - Funhouse
    - Super Mario Bros
    - Oktoberfest

I think Beatles, Deadpool and Jurassic Park (old DE or new stern) would be amazing theme titles for a location.

    Quoted from Chalkey:

I'd check with the brewery before bringing in anything like IMDN that might make children cry.

...what themes are cool to most pinsiders, may not be so cool to them.

i was playing wood-rail non flipper pinball before you even knew what pinball was.

    Quoted from Rackleye:

I was going to ask. You planning on getting a change machine, bill acceptors or just using the bartender.

I've seen PayRange do pretty well at the local brewery I play pins at. Little bit of a learning curve for people but if somebody just explains it to them they start to get it and after that it becomes pretty easy. Bonus if the operator setup any sort of 'play x amount of games and get a free game' type of deals.

Then you can just watch them swipe their money away!

    Quoted from Coz:

All great points! All things I will have to address as I see what works and what needs improvement

I said it before but check out PayRange. There is an upfront cost but once its setup and people understand how it works its absolutely seamless and completely plays into the 'i'm not actually spending money' mentality that comes with physical dollars or quarters. No need for change machines, dollar validators (which are still a solid option i'll admit) or bothering bartenders for change.

    Quoted from LTG:

No alcohol. You can bring in food and non alcoholic drinks.

You mean the big black thing that has been sitting by the front door for 28 years ?

i think i must have been distracted by the row of pristine JJP machines to even notice the vending machine
