Thunderbirds and Houdini.

To be fair, Houdini was still on early code. You know, when it gave you a 5 minute ear wrenching dialog intro for every mode you started. Did they ever fix or improve that?

Do you guys even like pinball?

I mentioned that earlier in this thread, and apparently you can bypass all that BS by holding the flippers which is about the only thing it doesn't verbally tell you.

Yes. Why, don't you?

Pabst Can Crusher; The Jetsons (a poorly working one as well). No redeeming qualities to be found in these 2 (Aside from some artwork).

The new Star Wars game. Just awful, brutal and over complicated. No fun.

#159 3 years ago

Superman. And Spectrum, which I ended up buying, and immediately selling

#160 3 years ago

X-Files, Lost in Space, JJP POTC, Hobbit, and Genesis. My low 5 of games I do not like

Munsters and Aerosmith of the newer pins. Both look good but just not fun for the $$.

Dialed In

Popeye, Ghostbusters, Munsters.

You know a pin is bad when you get annoyed when you get an extra ball.

Love my Hollywood heat... You just have to understand the rules. I played a Rock last weekend... Holy hell that sucked. It needs a 2x6 under the back legs.

Man I agree, been playing pinball for years, bought a Hollywood heat as my first SS because it was in my price range. Never played it before was taking a chance.

Love it and so do the kids.

For me a fun game I can spend hours on, for the kids easy rules. And they don’t get bored.

Have I played better games, sure, but it is still a fun game.

I can usually last through all three balls but Transformers was brutal. I could not wait for it to end so I walked on ball 2.

Stranger Things was pretty sad too but I did make it through.

I half the time think people don’t take the time to learn the rules and skill of the games. I never found one I truly hated.

Only ones I walk away from are machines in horrible condition or not setup correctly.

I remember playing a pinbot one time where the play field was as close to level as you could possibly get with the ball almost rolling backwards. Was so freaking boring I couldn’t stand it.

For instance I have a 61 showboat people bash it all the time as being boring. Setup properly with good flippers and pops it acutely a really fun game. And the double flipper setup make it changing and different!

Ya... I did still "plunge the ball", just didn't play it.

I find that claim difficult to reconcile with your choice of topic title.
