I was just looking at my machines “owned in the past” list and realized that a third of my collection are machines I’ve previously owned.

CFTBL, MB, TSPP, and FT have all found their way back into my collection for various reasons (usually to upgrade in quality).

Curious to know what machines you all have owned 2+ times and why?

BoP waa my first game. I rebought it for the 2.0 kit.

I had DE Star Wars twice. First time I bought it for the theme. Second time I bought it because I did not know about the better pins and where to get them. Both are gone.

Elvira & the Party Monsters was the first pin I ever bought. Sold it to upgrade to a Theatre of Magic. Later bought another one as part of a package deal, but sold it again.

Fishtales is the only one I've gotten a second of. Sold a FT and FH to fund my first NIB Metallica. I don't regret it, as I love met, but I'm happy to have a FT back and would like to replace FH as well. I still can't believe I sold either of them.
This FT is really nice and I'm doing some upgrades (in my opinion) that I don't care about "losing money on" because it will be a long time before this one leaves.

I currently own 2 copies of Harlem Globetrotters, but I'm reprogramming one of them.
EBD twice.
Jack in the Box and then Jumping Jack (4 player vs 2 player).

There are some games I've wanted to own again, but it just hasn't worked out yet. There was a Grand Lizard that sold near me recently from a very reputable guy, but unfortunately I saw the ad an hour after it went up, and the game was long gone. That is a game I regret selling.

Pinbot. Was my second machine. traded it for an NBA fastbreak. Bought another and sold it to help fund MMr. Looking to own it for a 3rd time.

Judge Dredd - bought and sold twice. Didn't especially want to sell either, but ended up part of trade deals for something better.

Stern Star Trek - bought and sold twice (one premium, one pro). I have a lot of love for the game, but the generic code and easy access to others to play led it to being left go twice. Wouldn't be surprised to have another someday, preferably the LE I've always wanted deep down.

Stern Star Wars - bought (the same one) twice. Sold way too hastily, and regretted it instantly. Thankfully was able to buy the same one back when the buyer was done with it a few months later. (Hopefully) will not make that mistake again.

Spider-Man - bought twice. First was a heavily routed original. Loved the game so much I wanted a perfect one, and that was right when the vault came out. Still not sure if the vault is an upgrade...there are things I like better about each of them.

Deadpool (doesn't really count yet, but it will... )- sold my pro, intending to upgrade quickly to the premium. Unfortunately that isn't happening as quickly as I wanted it to, but it will happen. Still targeting a premium, but if I ended up with another pro I will not be heartbroken. Either way, getting this one back in the collection is top of my wishlist.

There are a few others that I definitely wouldn't mind finding their way back home either...Walking Dead, Avengers, Iron Man, Black Knight, No Fear, probably others too. Most that I have sold were out of necessity to afford something new, rather than not liking them anymore. Just so many great games out there, and not enough money and space for all of them!

Only WCS and coincidentally enough the second time I owned it, it didn't even make it into the gameroom as an Iron Maiden popped up at a price I couldn't resist so it had to leave to make room and $$$. I really do like the game though and I was excited to pick it up again at the time.
