Im still in the very beginning stages of thought, so please bear with me, here goes- Im thinking of producing a limited number of pinball zines leading up to a pinball exhibition that I am curating titled Skillshot, The Collaborative Art of Pinball. The exhibit is scheduled to open in September of 2016 in the Glass Curtain Gallery, located on the campus of Columbia College Chicago. As the college is a non-profit, the gallery is open to the public and admission is free.
I would create 4 to 6 zines designed in the fashion of a DIY zine from the 90's/80's sold at cost of production and distributed when they are finished. All of the zines would be bundled together into a single package available as the exhibition catalog.
Im looking for other pinball zines, journals, magazines, etc that I can read, so that I know what has already been done, what worked/what didn't work.
