Figured I would start a thread for discussion of what playfields, backglasses and plastics folks would like to see CPR reproduce to keep the wants all in one place. I'm also going to include requests for reruns.

Most of what I want is coming:

    Backglass:
    - Elvira and the Party Monsters
    - Pinbot
    - Medieval Madness
    - Eight Ball Deluxe

    Playfields:
    - Bally Strikes and Spares (I missed the cutoff - any one that doesn't want theirs

    Plastics
    - Elvira and the Party Monsters

I'll summarize responses periodically and create some polls.

(No affiliation with CPR, just a very satisfied customer)

Edit: Assume CPR can't reasonably get licenses for projects that would involve third party licenses or those that PPS or others have the rights to.

What's the story with the CPR MM backglass? The repro translites have been available for some time. Is it a real backglass?

EATPM plastics are still available. Check marco... $165. I'd buy the backglass in a heartbeat even though I don't own the game. My favorite backglass of all time.

My playfield reproduction wish list: Addams Family, Williams Indiana Jones, Creature From The Black Lagoon, No Good Gofers, Scared Stiff, Road Show, Junk Yard, Six Million Dollar Man.

It would be nice if they just kept reprinting and stocked the ones they sold out of.

    #24 9 years ago

+1 on the Williams IJ, particularly the mini playfield.

    Blackout backglasses and fields.

    I second that...
Blackout backglass seems to have a lot of demand on here. I could use a PF as well.

There is no CPR MM backglass. It's just one I'd like to see, just like EATPM. I would like to have a real backglass in my game, not a translite.

    #41 9 years ago

The ones they have on the pre-order list already!.....need my FT pf's bad

    #42 9 years ago

Per the other thread, CPR lost the rights to do the ES playfield. I'd like to see them get the rights back. Who else can do it as well as CPR?

    #44 9 years ago

Taf playfield would be great !

    #45 9 years ago

I would like to see them do :

    - Six Million Dollar Man ( playfields and plastics )
    - Guns n Roses ( playfields - already have new plastics ( thanks CPR !! ) )
    - Jurassic Park ( playfields and plastics )

    #46 9 years ago
    Quoted from MIL:

    Guns n Roses ( playfields - already have new plastics ( thanks CPR !! ) )

Given that so many of those originals have that crazy scoop/landing wear, those would be an easy sell out.

I'd think the licensing would be a nightmare, but they apparently made out OK for two runs of the plastics, so who knows.

    #47 9 years ago

POTO - Playfield & Back glass.............I just want to buy them so I can hang it on my wall as art.

    #48 9 years ago

I would love to see them make the insert behind the spinning spider on scared stiff backbox

    #49 9 years ago

Folks, I don't know all the specifics, but I have been involved in licensing issues in my career and getting them isn't as easy as you might think.

Looking at what CPR has done in the past it seems like anything involving a third party license (say a TV show like Six Million Dollar Man) would be both difficult and potentially expensive to track down. Read up on why the 1966 Batman TV show isn't on DVD or Blu-Ray to get an idea of what's involved (for those that know, yes this is an extreme example, but you get the idea). Even if you could actually get the license, it's unlikely to be cheap.

And I should have realized that as much as I would like to see a MM glass, this would probably be another licensing issue for CPR (with Rick and PPS who own the rights), so this probably means that late model titles and those involving third parties like Dr. Who, BSD, etc. are probably not likely candidates for CPR projects.

+1 for Lost World backglass (Bally 77-78)
    .
Xenon playfield (I missed out getting in on the small run of 30)
    .
+1 for Rollergames playfield and plastics
