We have all answered the post asking which movie should be the next pinball machine.
How about the other way around, a movie based on a pinball machine

Centaur, hot chick riding the wasteland on a half-man, half bike
Mystery of the White Water, a group of people going down the rapids avoiding the dreaded Big Foot
Pin*bot, A sentient robot sent to our galaxy

Well they made White Water already. It's called Bigfoot's Wild Weekend, which is awesome BTW; available on Prime.

Mars Attacks was based on a set of cards from 1962.

Attack from Mars (1995) came out before Mars Attacks the movie (1996).

What movie would Xenon make? I like the idea.

    #26 1 year ago

Xenon for sure, here's my movie pitch:

On the planet Atom, all human life is genetically engineered by an entity known as MOTA, the Life Giver. She creates humans in her own form but favors the female as the dominant species and gives them superior intelligence over the males. But each human is given only a 12-year life cycle ('born' at 15) after which time they are genetically controlled to return to MOTA for 'rebirth'.

Rebith: Experience chips removed from the brain and the 'old' body incinerated. The experience chip is used for the next model. Therefore, each new 'birth, generates a human with more experience but in a new, young body. This is marked by their name and reference to any previous cycles (lives); for example: Micheal 4.

The first female, known as Eve 7, who's experience and intelligence has now developed over 7 cycles, assumes control of her own destiny after experiencing flashbacks of her previous cycles, and plans to take down MOTA and allow all humans to live out their full life and take control of the planet.

MOTA's origin is unknown but it's believed she was brought to the planet by an alien civilization to cultivate life. The alien civilization would then return to the planet when it was ready for habitation, and the genetic humans would either be enslaved or destroyed.

The reason for the 12-year life cycle is assumed to be because humans are at their physical peak during this period of their lives and start to deteriorate from 27 onwards, and so have no further use beyond this age except experience, which is now transferrable. So to control over population and to manage vital resources, they are reborn.

Damn! You have put a lot of thought into this!

    1. I’d definitely watch Total Nuclear Annihilation: The Movie.
    2. I feel like Quicksilver could really use an arty, low-budget sci-fi short to provide some inkling of a story.

    Mystery Castle

    Ahem:

    Banzai Run.

    #30 1 year ago

    Cyclopes
Dr. Dude and his Excellent Ray
    Genesis
Monster Bash (yes, the individual movies have all been done, but this would be a movie with all 6 monsters in it)

    Strikes and Spares

There was another one I was thinking that has some "custom" Christensen artwork, but I decided to keep it somewhat family friendly and leave it out. Its probably been made a thousand times before anyway, basically.
