Let's have some fun with this topic. Any particular reason(s) why you made your selection(s)? Multiple selections encouraged.

I believe National Treasure and the Mummy both would appeal to all ages, even a general treasure hunt pin. I did choose War Games because I grew up as the personal home computer age kicked off and who didn't have a boring day that they wished they could break into NORAD?

I hope pinball manufactures use this a guide for future releases. I tried picking most of what has been mentioned in different threads over the years.

Big trouble in little china would be amazing.

    #3 3 years ago

Boondock saints. (Just chose a good movie at random not on your list)

    #4 3 years ago

I like your approach of listing movies for people to vote on what they would really like. Please add James Bond films to the selection.

    #5 3 years ago

I would really like to see a Planet of the Apes using the original movie with Charleston Heston.

    #6 3 years ago

    007 Sean Connery edition

    #7 3 years ago

    Pacific Rim

Without Monty Python and the Holy Grail on the list, it is impossible to vote.

I heard Williams intended to make that but couldn’t get the rights so they made Medieval Madness.

I'd be curious to know what kind of modes they would make for Cujo. it's been like 20 or more years since I've seen it, but weren't the mom and her kid stuck in the car the entire time?

    #12 3 years ago

My vote goes to Resident Evil

    #13 3 years ago

    Hocus Pocus, Despicable Me

    #1 Matrix

    #14 3 years ago
    Quoted from Tiki-Ed:

Big Bang theory (not a movie)

TV shows needs a different thread/poll.

    #15 3 years ago

This is a GREAT list of movies, and truth he told, I would LOVE to see them all made into pins. I felt I should limit myself to 5, however, so these are the ones I chose:

    Goonies
    Matrix
    Harry Potter
    Total Recall
    Planet of the Apes

    #16 3 years ago

PHANTASM PINBALL! Phantasm is one of my all time favorite movies! Sphere multiball would be killer

    #17 3 years ago

Everyone take notice. Just about all these titles are from the 80's to some in the 90s. Hollywood hasn't cranked out a classic in atleast 20 years. All they know are comic book heroes anymore.

    #18 3 years ago

I voted for three movies, but if I could vote for Mad Max three times I would. SR making a super fast Mad Max pin (even if it’s a Spider-Man redo) would be so badass.

    #19 3 years ago

Holy shit this is a lot to take on.Voted Goonies just because of the following to the movie and all the ways to go as far as mechanics

Could u even imagine what this theme would have to offer ?

The good news for us is that deeproot is rumored to have a Goonies pin in the works.

    #22 3 years ago

Army of Darkness or Evil Dead

    #24 3 years ago

Come on, Goonies? I liked that film when I was a kid but that's where it should stay.

Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior
    Total Recall
    Predator
    007
    The Running Man
    Scarface
    Jaws

    #25 3 years ago

Oh yeah where the hell is Blade Runner on that list?

    #26 3 years ago

    The sound of music
    Cats
    The Very Excellent Mr Dundee

A few years back I started work on a Blues Brothers game, which would make an epic pinball experience. Rolling, rolling, rolling....keep your pinball rolling...

The Punisher! Netflix or Dolph lundgren style! Not that other crappy one.

    #29 3 years ago

A Cry for Help: The Tracy Thurman Story. I'm surprised nobodies done it yet.

    #30 3 years ago
    Quoted from Hazoff:

Oh yeah where the hell is Blade Runner on that list?

Yes Bladerunner and Escape from New York!

    #31 3 years ago

Two not listed - Speed Racer (Wachowskis movie version), and maybe Laura Croft - Tomb Raider

I also selected the Matrix, 007, BBTF, Goonies, Beetlejuice and Firefly. Though Firefly probably won't ever get made, it might be the one pin of all of these to get all the original actors likenesses and voice overs, which is something I love about my STTNG.

    #32 3 years ago

I've always thought a pinball based on the movie Taken would be really good. So many action scenes to base modes on.

My vote went to Die Hard in the poll above.

    #33 3 years ago

I voted Mission Impossible because I have been trying to will that title into existence for the last five years.

    Beetlejuice was a close second

    Beetlejuice

    #36 3 years ago

    DieHard
    Predator
    Mad Max
    007

    #37 3 years ago

    Great list! Voted for several.
    Not on list I would love and think many others would too;

    Spinal Tap
    Rocky Horror
    Super Troopers

    #38 3 years ago

Like Mad Max/Fury Road and Fast and Furious. More car themes please.

Also love to see more Clint Eastwood. A Good Bad and Ugly with the music would be so good. Firefox with the whole 80s cold war spy thriller action pretty good too.

    #39 3 years ago

A Back to the Future game with a proper Huey Lewis and the News soundtrack would be an instant buy for me.

If Stern were to make it, it would be really fun if they would include a “classic mode” that pays homage to the original Data East game.

    One can dream!

Honestly I’d love a Punisher pin, but based on The Garth Ennis comic run not any of the very average movies.
The movies haven’t been great and the Netflix show whilst awesome, I’m not sure would make for a good pin, so I left it off the list

Good point. Stern would make a candy ass pin anyways.

    #47 3 years ago

Would like to see Spooky make :

    Killer Klowns From Outer Space

    #48 3 years ago

Planet of the Apes is my first choice. Lots of good sound bites and nifty
    visuals.

A series of pins based on the 007 movies would really be great!

Another good one not on the list would be 'Forbidden Planet'.

    #49 3 years ago

Robin graciously added some more to the poll for me, ones that had not originally thought about until I had read some of the comments. Poll is now closed for any additional selections though.

    Added:

    Smokey and the Bandit
    Blade
    Bladerunner
    Evil Dead
    Halloween
    Escape From LA/New York
    Little Shop of Horrors
    Blues Brothers
    Firefox
    Good, Bad, and the Ugly
    Resident Evil
    The Thing
    Kill Bill
    The Shining
    Underworld

The movie or TV show doesn't have to be good to translate into a great pin. The Punisher regardless of the source is still a way better theme than what we normally get around here.
