The house is for sale, so I contacted the real estate agent asking what the heck it is haha

#10 4 years ago

Owner is selling it for 300.00, thats all I got from the real estate agent.
What do I do now

#12 4 years ago

Ok I talked to the owner, she says she has the manual but doesn't know the name, but she say it has powerball, jacks and spades.. what is it?!
and also she bought it from another owner > 10 years ago

It kind looks like It may be a 1977 Gottlieb Jacks Open?

#16 4 years ago

Thats what Im thinking, but it looks like a custom paint job. She says it works. is it worth 300.00??
But one thing for sure from photos its gotta be a Gottelib

Quoted from HHaase:

I'd offer $200, see what happens, and have fun with it.
At that price can you really go THAT wrong with it?

No but another machine in the basement and my wife will make me carrot sticks for dinner for the rest of my life.

Quoted from Fezmid:

If the house is for sale, why can't you go in and look at it...?

Owner is out of town and her son doesn’t know much I think . She said I can go look more closely in the window be prepared for
More photos !

Quoted from JWJr:

Many men I know would not sleep in the house while that_ was in the house.

As in they are scared or as in they are geeked out ?

#29 4 years ago

Ok I went up to the window it’s called “royal flush “. Anyone ?

#33 4 years ago

If I get it for 200.00 repaint it how much u think I could get for it ?

#36 4 years ago

Ok im going to make
A project out of it . I’ll offer 200.00 and have it repainted . Does anyone know if there are like stencil kits
Or something for this kind of job ?

#41 4 years ago

Thanks for the info guys, I contacted seller and trying to offer 200.00, dont even know if it works, but I think she said it does. My wife is really good with art, she will get involved. Is this going to be heavier then my WOZ or pOTC?

Quoted from newovad:

I don't see stencils for the '83 Deluxe. It has a different pattern than Royal Flush/Card Whiz.
Not sure you'd need stencils to make this...[quoted image]

For some reason this pin reminds me of the movie "the Warriors" dont know why.

Quoted from HHaase:

Caaaaan youuuuu Dig It?!

If you ever played Warriors on Xbox.. that was the best game ever. Got to fight all the gangs.. was awesome.

Would u guys sand the cabinet down, or just paint over the existing stuff?

#50 4 years ago

Above
Looks great ! Okay I made the deal at 250.00 will get it next weekend and then go from there!

#52 4 years ago
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

WARNING! BEFORE YOU DO THIS IN YOUR HOUSE AROUND KIDS VERIFY IT IS NOT LEAD BASED PAINT! The machine is old enough for this to be an issue. You can get a simple test kit from a hardware store. You can still fix it up if it is lead based paint, but you will need to take precautions... especially if you have little ones around.

Wow man thanks for the update. I will be leaving it in the garage, and stripping it down and repainting there. I have a 7 month old who cant crawl yet, so I think I will be fine, and she doesnt go in garage anyways.
