Quoted from d0n:

blackwater 100. I'd never played it until today. Pretty fun game with some amazing playfield designs. 5 flippers and 3 levels!

You should have played the early prototype game.
The eject holes where animated. The ball would "rev"
with the sound. Sadly, the operators would assume
the game had multiple bad coils and thus removed the "rev"
from the game, but kept the sound.

I got a call from a guy that I did work for on his Bally pinball machine for many years.
He called and needed drop targets so I gave him what I had. He called a few days a go
" I need you to pick this game up". So I did, it was F-R-E-E. I felt sorry for him and
gave him $20.00 bucks. Apparently, he did something to it and blew it up.
The game is a Bally Supersonic. Black cabinet, bubbled back glass, and worn playfield.
I know I need post pictures; but the game is pure ugly.

Quoted from Micky:

Are you going to try and restore it

How much money do you want to sink into a game that is not worth a lot?
I was planning on maybe making it into another Bally title. I still have to decide.

Love the Michael bash toy! (it made me snort).

Quoted from o-din:

I posted about Blackwater 100, I didn't do it justice.

Note: the prototype software had the balls "rev" in the eject kickout holes.
-- People thought that there was something wrong with solenoids so they took
-- it out of the software program. Even though they kept the sound call.

@jmountjoy111
Funny story, many years ago a Genesis was at a bar location and the
ball was doing a lot of weird things. The ball was jumping all over the place.
Come to find out on closer inspection the last technician to shop the game out
completely tightened the window down below flush with the playfield.
It was so bad that you could not hit the drop targets that were in the center of the playfield.
The ball would jump over them and into the pop bumpers.

Quoted from slapnuts77:

A bit of a project but I did fix a bunch of flashers not working due to some resisters being missing

Note: On F14 /Pinbot, add mini post rubber QTY 2 to each resistor board under the support bracket.
----- This will dampen the vibration that makes the resistors break off the PCB board.

Quoted from MikeO:

A good friend of mine bought his wife a ToM from me for Christmas many many years ago.

On the flip side..... I was called out to put back together a Williams Funhouse.
Yea knows "the other woman" syndrome.
I sold a guy my Meteor and his girlfriend at the time got jealous and took an ax to it. Sad.

I think the color shifts has to do with the vendors involved with the production run. I watched
the moon on Williams Space Shuttle's backglass do the same color shift throughout the game's
production run. The end of production run games have more red than the beginning of the
production run and/or the backglass was replaced with NOS which is, of course, the end of
production run stock.

Quoted from wantdataeast:

I just remember hearing on some Todd Tuckey video he mention the many of the 90's Bally Williams game going for $750-$1000 when they were pulled off location.

Yes... I got a Drudge Dread for $450.00. The market was saturated with a lot of games that nobody wanted.

I just got home with a Gottlieb Genie that has a pascal all in one CPU/sound/power supply/output board that has
the power supply side of it blown up! Yeah.

Time to let go.
After servicing this Williams' Flash pinball for about 35 years, the owner needed
to downsize. So, I got to pick up this old familiar game. The owner is a
great gal, she got it a few years after the game was released.
In all, it is pretty much OEM with no mods.

Quoted from luckycreature:

Fell in love with this simple one three years ago at Pincinnati. Tried to buy it then. Fast forward to this year first day of pincinnati owner posted it. I wasn't going this year but a friend was. Asked him to store it for me but he did me one better and delivered it to me tonight. It's a players condition game but im happy.

I believe this game is to have two trapped boot-a-balls.

Quoted from OldHockeyGuy:

#StrikesandSpares contains some delightful, sexist and now politically incorrect artwork representative of my father's generation of 1950's bowlers who also appreciated attractive woman and social drinking..
Fun to see and play. Looking forward to seeing yours

Yes it does.. My friend put the Bally game in a sports handball gym.
The owner called to get this "filth out of here." I went with him to help
pickup the game. The back glass was covered with newspaper. All we could do
was laugh, as we were removing the game from the location.
