Just delivered by Don Bosworth of http://www.pinballsonthemove.com/.
I purchased these five games over the last six months and finally got them delivered today.

Space Station

Can anyone guess what jukebox is against the back wall and what car shares the garage with these pinball machines?

Busy morning...

My em lineup. Now I just need to find space to keep them all up.

I see a Grand Prix in the back

Quoted from Skyemont:

Drove 12 hours last night and got home at 4 am this morning for this.

Nice! Where was the drive? Solo or with a companion? I drove 1350 for a TAF two years ago; the things we do for this hobby!

Quoted from Oilrat:

Me and my son Jake drove to Phoenix Arizona a 12 hr trip to pick up this beautiful Attack From Mars to add to the collection. Very fun and AWSOME to play.

Wow, you got modman's AFM! His work is truly one of a kind! Congrats on the new pin!

Number 42 is home!
Screened Cab. Playfield restored and cleared by Bill Davis.
Now for a little cleaning, adjust flips, replace all rings, slide in some PDI glass and then get that ColorDMD installed.

Nice MB. Who was the seller?

#3708 2 years ago
Quoted from kcZ:

I just want to know if you left your wallet on a gas pump on the trip.

LOL! That was a long day! Almost 1400 miles. Leaving the wallet on the gas pump was epic! Thanks kcZ for selling me your TAF.

Took forever to find the right one for a decent price and i was about to just bite the bullet and pay alot more than i did but then i found this beauty just in time....

It's always nice to hear a success story. I'm never patient enough to wait and usually end up overpaying! I have a SS also. Great game and funny callouts.

Quoted from Spock:

I came home with nothing lol.

Did you go looking for something and the deal turned South?

'Unfortunately sir, your free 7'x6' Harbor Freight tarp failed to completely protect it from the elements while it sat outside all last year.'l
I literally laughed in his face when he suggested he find his extension cord so i could test it out.
I offered $50 and reluctantly paid $75.

Got it playing yet?

cjmjmm2006 You got to set up some ‘plaining to do with that picture. Tell us the story!

I’m out on my own adventure today. Nearly 3000 miles RT to pick up a grail pin.

Added 11 months ago:

I got the pin and am headed home. 1200 miles to go!
Picking up this pin is somewhat bittersweet. I’m very lucky to have it. Anyone following the TBL saga knows how rare these are. Unfortunately a lot of people have money on the table for one and nothing to show for it.

#9548 11 months ago
Quoted from Skyemont:

2 going out and 9 coming in tomorrow. Pics coming.

This story is going to be great. I can’t wait to hear and see more!

I’ve still got a TBL deposit with CT and will buy another when the situation gets straightened out.

Had this delivered last night. I set it up and played it a bit this morning. Heading to storage now. A plug for my Escalera and Larry Kitchen. I could never move pins by myself without it!

Correct! It’s also one heavy mofo!

#11219 4 months ago
Quoted from kcZ:

But did you leave your wallet at the gas pump? You sure like to take some road trips for pins!

@kcz , you have a good memory! I now live in Hong Kong, but still actively buy pins. I come back to the states every couple months and drive our Sienna van about the country picking up pins I’ve bought. But this trip started out with a hitch; I got here without the van keys, So I was forced to take my pick up. Thankfully, I should have a rain-free return trip. I have to more trips planned this week. Went to Kentucky to pick up The Munsters and another to Texas to pick up Centaur and Taxi.

#11226 4 months ago

So, I’m heading back from Arizona to Mississippi with Lexy in the back. I gas-up in Albuquerque and continue heading east and have a craving for tacos. I stop at a Taco Bell in the middle of nowhere. The family of five in front of me takes five minutes to place a $105 order. It’s going to take forever to fill this order and I still have almost a thousand miles to travel and don’t have time for this. I’ve got to get on the road and press on towards Mississippi. The next Taco Bell is in Tucumcari about 100 miles down the road.

A Grand Lizard for rustylizard There must be a story to tell...

#11268 4 months ago
Quoted from Adaminski:

Some good-natured ribbing, as I also occasionally eat at Taco Bell....
Surely you could have found a better taco option in New Mexico along I40 between Albuquerque and Tucumcari!!
At least it was snow, not rain.

Ribbing deserved and you’re right about better taco options in New Mexico! I was just amazed how five people (three were children) is could spend $105 at Taco Bell!

My second road trip of the week and first NIB. I got to meet the former and current owners of Flip-N-Out Pinball. Met up with Larry and Zach to get the machine.

My third road trip and 4450 miles this week. Bringing back a restored Taxi and custom restored Centaur. Both are wrapped and tucked in the UHaul. A shout out to bballfan for the restorations. He does phenomenal work! I also dropped off TAF for him to restore.

You've been holding onto that TAF for awhile.

Almost 5 years awaiting restoration! We unwrapped it, checked connections and turned it on. It worked great and all the mechs property cycled. bballfan and I have some great ideas for this restoration. It will be special.

Great experience shipping with Fastenal. There’s a Full Throttle buried in that crate! radius118 did a phenomenal job crating this pin. A great buying experience. Someday I’ll have this pin sitting next to the Alien LE I recent bought.
