Quoted from dmieczko:Good haul today!
Is there a polite way to say screw you and your "good haul" without seeming to jelous?
Quoted from Colsond3:Man, that thing is sweet. Let me know if you ever decide to move it.
I doubt I ever will but if i do I'll let you know
Quoted from Oneangrymo:That would work, but she'll be like "you don't have any friends". I'll just try to hide them under some blankets or something.
I could stop by once in a while to establish a friendship for the next time you need a scapegoat.
Quoted from Toyguy:Been wanting one of these for awhile. Finally found a decent one not too far away.
I just got mine back running less than an hour ago thanks to a very helpful pinsider.one of the best values in pinball in my opinion.
Quoted from dirtbag66:And lots of facial hair!
My dad always told me "facial hair is a sign of laziness".
Words to live by!
Well I have facial hair and I work 14 hours a day everyday.no time to shave......
Quoted from dirtbag66:If my math is correct, you have 10 hours a day to shave. How long does it take you to shave?!?
About 11 hours
Quoted from Chosen_S:How's the tempest? I've had 4 of them, the monitor is always about a 5 hour very tedious project, I usually have to send the tempest board out for repair / new ram I think, awesome score!
I was told it was working and just stopped.let's hope it's just a fuse.
Quoted from Reality_Studio:I put one of these in my Tempest monitor based on others recommendations, since the monitors have a tendency to fail:
http://www.vector-repair.com/
The LV 2000, haven't had an issue since. It's basically a modern board that replaces a high failure section of Tempest I'll be looking into that if I need it or not

The LV 2000, haven't had an issue since. It's basically a modern board that replaces a high failure section of Tempest crt's.
I'll look into that if it needs it now or not
Quoted from Chosen_S:ALL Games with this Color Vector monitor need them, it's not a matter of if it needs it unfortunately
I know how to take advise so it is already ordered before I even plug it in
Quoted from spinal:These last few posts remind me of the episode where Fred bought Wilma a bowling ball for her birthday.
Hey buddy if it was up to me I would of bought 2 NBA jams with a link cable.
Quoted from bluespin:Looks like his wife has him on a "pin budget" for the holidays.
I think you're trying to challenge my manhood
Quoted from bluespin:I’m surprised that your wife let you say that.
It's on
Quoted from dhard:C'mon now he's the boss when she says he is oops that's my house dang!
I'm putting my big boy pants on right now and I'm going to buy something
Quoted from jmountjoy111:It better be a pinball machine. I swear if you post a picture of a box of tampons I’ll die laughing lol
Not a pinball but not tampons either
Brought home my 10th pin today, pretty decent players Fire that played fast and strong.lots of first with this one.had to take the head off (1st)and the guys door off to get it out of the house(1st)took out the playfield (1st)to lighten the load because of the angles we couldn't use a dolly (1st) and then carried it into my basement by myself(1st)and put it all back together and set up by myself (1st) except the back box won't unlock now so I will drill it out tomorrow and reconnect all the plugs.I'm pooped.....
Quoted from egyptrus:Was that the one in Shererville, IN by chance?
No it was in Michigan, was only up on fb for a day.
Quoted from igo4rams:Oh, in an ice storm. Crazy pinball hobby.
I'm right there with you
steviechs scooped it for me,the lady delivered it so he gave full price.
Quoted from crlush:I have been thinking of picking that up, did you get a good deal or pay full price.
Quoted from NoQuarters:No spinning disks.
If we don't destroy it we will mod them back in
Quoted from Pinnutz:Thank God!!! It's been on there for years I think.
My nephew wants to retheme it to the butt pirates of the caribbean and add a fidget spinner in the middle
Quoted from timtim:Been wanting one of these since I played it at papa
Craigslist score for a great price
And on my birthday seriously
Just waiting for my brother to help carry it down to the b-list basement
I've grown impatient waiting and I've carried the last couple down myself.weighing more than the machine probably makes it a bit easier.
Quoted from Zavadoza:I had to give her $500 spending cash before we got in the truck to get it. So you could say it cost me $6k. Deal!
I make similar deals with my wife
On my way home with a nice CL score.I was the first caller and offered her asking price and told her even if it had a switch or 2 out I would pay her price because it was beyond a fair price.by the time I got there she had a ton of messages offering more, she even showed me some incase I wanted to flip it and make some quick money but I bought it for myself and I'm just not a flipper.then when she couldn't find the key she insisted I take $25 off which I swear I refused a dozen times but she found change and made me take it along with this really sweet one size fits most wrench thing and a pint of Belvedere vodka. My first CL deal and such a nice lady that I think we will become friends and stay in touch.
20180718_210108 (resized).jpgQuoted from bluespin:No Good Gophers! Did it have a topper?
Yes in good condition it's been sitting under the pin for 10 years because it wouldn't fit in their basement. And yes NGG but I meant the pin in the vodka pic, that's a hard one.
Quoted from MiamiRedSkin:You mean Tee'd Off?
Lol yes that is tee'd off I'm so beat from getting this one out of the basement I dont even know what I have
Quoted from Colsond3:Damn you! Nice grab. Let me know when you’re done with that and I’ll come pick it up. You can have the teal LEDs.
It will probably be a while but if you find yourself in town bring your quarters
Quoted from weaverj:was almost my first pin.
It's probably a good thing for me Labnip wasn't going to PA but I did lose a Motordome in the exchange and as terrible of a game it is I really liked it and it was my go to for a quick game.Maybe I'll have the extra cash when it's restored and buy it back
Quoted from Ballypin:Nice pickup Puffdanny. You have to be running out of room so let me come get that Flip Flop from you
I have room for at least 15-20 more
I traded that motordome for his Atlantis(plus cash) and I already miss it.sure this Atlantis is fun and holy shit is it beautiful but I really like the game play of Motordome its simple but it has so many satisfying shots.
Quoted from wayout440:Did that one come from Ohio? there was one for sale near me recently.
Yes out of Lorain.it was up for a couple months but they dropped the price for Christmas .
Quoted from kcZ:Is that the one from MI that was listed in here?
Yes it is.great seller, machine was exaclty as described and had everything ready to pack it up safely.he was also nice enough to let me take the heavy end lol I am twice his size so it made sense to do it that way.
Quoted from Scoot:There is a heavy end?
Yes when going up stairs I would say the heavy end is the guy doing the pulling
Quoted from NoQuarters:I always thought it would be fun to retheme a soda machine into a beer machine !
As soon as I can get my pop machine to the basement I'm adding a button for beer and one for weed that will be in them Coca-Cola stash cans.
Quoted from nascarrey:Some one gets a 'time out' when they get home???
Maybe a spanking if he's lucky
Quoted from Pinkitten:Thanks! I love the surprising difficulty of FT. The rules are awesome, and these are getting harder to find in nice, original condition. In about a week I should have my new Dirty Harry too!
Getting "hooked" on these 90's era pins!
Knowing the quality of games you collect I'm probably priced out but when you fell ft let me know just incase
Quoted from Puffdanny:Called in sick to go fishing
Quoted from AlexF:Picked up this 1975 Bally Hi-Deal yesterday. Was non-working but after a few tweaks it's playing pretty good. I'll probably tune it up after Thankgsiving.[quoted image]
My favorite of my 3 em's
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:What machine is that? And yes, I totally read his shirt wrong. LOL
Chris
Quoted from chad:Damn , got me to on the shirt. Shaq or Big Hurt?
Shaq Attack
Quoted from KSUWildcatFan:Lady down the street from me wants $4800 for her shuttle.... Lol
I could of bought close to 4 of them for that
Quoted from Pinkitten:Game over, Man!!! There are 2 Alien Invasions now! Finally found one. Just wish they had made thousands more.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I'm in the driveway OPEN UP !!!!!
Quoted from Pinkitten:Wow. Here I thought I had the cleanest, most orderly Junkyard. This pin has serious junk in the trunk! Great add.
I just picked up a game from a guy who had just picked up a JY and RFM both looked like they had never had a ball played on them. He got them for $2100 each and they seriously looked like they had just came out of the box.
Quoted from Pinsforfun:Picked up a really nice Pool Sharks with very little fade. So excited I forgot to take a picture.
Rookie
Quoted from Pinball69:Yes first pin. I am already thinking about the next one. We love it. I have purchased just about everything mod wise for it. Waiting for a few more mods to come this week - This one will be loaded up.
Thanks for the kind words- I didn’t think I would like it as much as the red but it has really grew on me and love the glittering Playfield with the super crisp 2.0 leds.
I’m number #25 of 200
[quoted image]
One thing you have going for you is pretty much whatever you get next will be cheaper
Quoted from ssbodyman:Picked up two on my wishlist from a friend tonight. He needed the space, I'm over capacity myself but I'll figure it out.
[quoted image]
Call outs and art are not the best but I really enjoy playing amh. My favorite spooky but I haven't played r&m. Enjoy
Quoted from mark532011:Not quite the epic shot i had envisioned. But the rain changed the plan. That is a Revenge From Mars and Whirlwind under all the wrapping. That RFM is a heavy beast!!
[quoted image]
Both amongst my first 4 pins and they still sit side by side
Quoted from FTN_Ferry:Brought this home.. Big House
Love the GTB 80b..
Have to find out if this is as 'boring' as being told..
Let see if I can make her decent again..
As you can see... in Europe we have moderate cars, bit we can still fit a Pin-machine in it..
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I enjoy mine and don't find it boring at all
Scooped a nice CL deal on a Bronco for myself and then my brother grabbed a keep your poker face deal from the guy 5 houses down.I'll get some pics when we get them set up but might take a few to rearrange spots for them.
20210616_143332 (resized).jpg20210616_183642_01 (resized).jpg20210616_193832 (resized).jpgSurf n safari has a bit of wear and a bit of dirt the taxi has a rottendog mpu and less wear but I don't think this thing is coming clean but we'll get it as good as it can get.

You haven't seen the back glass.he kept it in a 3 season room off the house and the temperature changes over 15 years took its toll. It needs some cleaning and adjusting since it stays on player 1 ball 1 but it flips good and I think all the switches work and score properly.
Quoted from DanMarino:Bummer about the back glass, but the machine is fun. We bought an Argosy 3 weeks ago and it was stuck on 1 player games. I'm brand new to EMs and after watching some YouTube videos, I was able to take apart the player stepper unit in the head, clean it, and get it working again. Such a fun multi-player game!
Thank you I will start there and try to get it going myself if not I have a great tech that will have it going in no time.
Took some Coca Cola and aluminum foil to the metal and WOW.Unfortunately there's plenty of ball swirl I doubt will come out (looks way worse in person)but I'll do what I can this weekend and give it my first full em go through and service the stepper.Hopefully I can do my first 100% fix without my tech like a real wizard

I got the tape off the lockdown bar after the pic I didn't 1/2 ass it I'm going full 3/4 ass on this one
Quoted from pinzrfun:Wait a second...."full 3/4 ass"......is that possible? Wouldn't it be "3/4 ass" or "full (4/4) ass"?
My ass <> effort ratio measurement chart is in the other room........
At this stage in life 3/4 ass is all I have
Quoted from Pinkitten:Feces: The Pinball Game
Actually, with a new Playfield, new cabinet, legs, new wiring, boards, mechs and decals, you’d have a decent project.
Just leave it as it sits,San Francisco the Pin.hobo multiball and shit on the sidewalk wizard mode.
Quoted from yzfguy:Beat of luck with the truck. I just picked up a TF last week and it is so much more fun than I ever thought it would be!
I called a shop and explained my dilemma as soon as they opened at 7:30 am and they had me back on the road at 8:35 for parts and $50 in labor(serpentine belt)and I tossed him a $20 on top. Then I blew a hose about 50 miles later but we just refilled the resivor back up and kept an eye on the heat gauge and made it home no problem. Tf has really good rules imo and a blast to play.
Quoted from RonSS:Minivans scream confidence and security. You're in bro!
It's worse than that bro! this is a Focus wagon.
Quoted from Pinkitten:What game features this art?
[quoted image]
Looks like I should of came by and grabbed them rubbers from you for this
Screenshot_20211230-165142_Gallery (resized).jpgQuoted from Pinkitten:Congrats on your game! I have a ton of black and white rubber rings and posts. If you want some I can send you a bunch.
I'll take them
Quoted from northerndude:I've got one of those in my garage waiting for me to not be a lazy ass and get it working......
And my BG "looks" fine, but its not really. The art is separating clean off in places but not flaking, kind of peeling off I would call it. weird.
I need to inspect it more after I unload it but it appeared to have most of the paint and missing on the faces or crowns. Definitely not the typical flaking I've seen. And I know what you mean about lazy I have a little chief I need to work on,it is a snow day do maybe today's the day.
Quoted from Ceckitti:I really need to get my Flip Flop set up and start cleaning it and get it working.
Yes you do its a fantastic game
Quoted from dirkdiggler:I love new to me games. First Capcom and second pool themed game in a row.
[quoted image]
I have one and love it
Quoted from Velluminous:What do you do when you own Dungeons & Dragons but can't find a topper?
You make a 12hr round trip to buy a whole second machine that has a topper. Pinball owner logic.
[quoted image][quoted image]
[quoted image]
That's the most sensible thing I've ever heard of
Quoted from bluespin:You picked up a project Robo War. You’re the winner.
Actually my friend is the winner. He's been looking for one for years and made a fair offer how it sits and he's better and faster with projects so I'm going to pass it along and still get to play it when it's done.
Quoted from BorgDog:That tracked hand truck work good with pins?
First time I used it and brought it up pretty much 1 handed. Hardest part is getting it on the platform because it's raised but wasn't hard. You need a little more room to turn around than an escalera because of the tracks and platform.
Quoted from BorgDog:Thanks, do you have a link to where to get? I'm sure I saw some posts on them on pinside, but no idea where, nor what they are actually called to search.
I bought mine on ebay.I made an offer back and forth and I saved a little off the asking if I remember correctly I paid just under $1300
It does fold up nice and small if it didn't fit there it was going in the front seat. It's definitely not as sturdy as an escalera but for the occasional use I'll get with it I'm super happy with it. My friend also has one so I saw it in action before purchasing.
Quoted from BorgDog:Thanks for the info and good review. definitely on my list if/when I have to move pins out of the basement.
I've had it for quite a few months waiting for a deal in a basement to pop up. I have attachment issues and once they're in my basement it's hard for me to let them leave.
Quoted from Flash71:Oh wow! I haven’t seen one of those since I was young. Damn good hush puppies. Is that the HH from Ohio?
Yes
Quoted from Flash71:What price too it? Did you get it up and running?
I've only had it 24 hours lol I haven't even taken it out of the car
