Quoted from Jappie:

The hilarious scene on the translite alone is worth owning the game. Gee, I wonder what decade this machine is from...
"Aw fuck, my back is killing me again."
"Hey man, can I get some service over here?"
"No, sorry. I have to dry this imaginary glass while I think over my life, casually standing in this bluish hue."
"Let's go home, Larry. I'm wearing those stockings you like..."
"Hmmm... is this the right time to tell her I caught chlamydia?"

The art is awesome, man hahah So much going on. Great find

Quoted from Colsond3:

Nice! You don’t see that one every day.

Thanks, man! MadPole was nice enough to let his go! I showed up to his house with my Gottlieb shirt like a nerd hahaha

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Come on. Try me.

That is one of my favorite quotes! It is kinda spooky because it sounds like there is someone else in the room with you hahah.

We finally just turned it off. Haha. At first I thought it couldn’t be turned off.

Quoted from pinostalgia:

Lucky he didn't raise the price by another $200 when he saw that

Dude right! Well I can see you have great taste in pins by observing your collection!

Quoted from pinostalgia:

It's been more than three decades that I haven't heard it and it's still in my head, lol

Hahaha. All Gottliebs from the 80s have catchy songs! Monte Carlo has such a great soundtrack hahaha

Quoted from bluespin:

Gottlieb 80 series pins are harder to find today because the boards weren’t grounded and a lot of the pins were thrown away. I was at TPF three years ago and ran into the owner of the local arcade where I grew up in California.
I asked him what he did with all of his pins when he closed his arcade in 85. He said that he didn’t have room to store everything, so he put all of the difficult to maintain pins in the dumpster; all Ataris and all Gottlieb 80s except Haunted House and Black Hole. He kept a few Williams and all of the Bally pins.

Damn! What a shame! I also feel like production runs from Premier we’re much lower compared to Williams.

I’m sure nowadays, if anyone saw a pin sitting on the side of the road ready to be dumped, it would get snatched up! I would for sure anyway

I think you are definitely right though. Pinball machines were seen as disposable back in the 80s. They were to run for 5 years then get tossed. Super sad

Today was another great day!
