Picked up this early SS in Madison, WI yesterday. My girls enjoy it too because they think it's Barbie's horse.

Brought home a very dirty (hopefully minor project) Hardbody on Friday. I don't care what people say, it's a fun machine.
I took a half day off yesterday to pickup a Super Chexx and Congo. Both need work, but I couldn't be happier with both pickups. I'll try to update with pictures.
So just a few days after starting a Hardbody thread, and saying how it might be "the last machine I would sell", I find it's slightly older brother. E.T., err...I mean BMX was just 15-minutes from my house. Picked it up and unloaded it on my lunch break. Has quite a bit of wear, but the backglass condition was a nice surprise. It's going to need some hopefully minor repairs and lots of TLC.

Quoted from Archer600:Congratulations and welcome to the club. Don't think I could ever part with mine. Great game with a way better theme than hardbody.
My issue is going to be figuring out which one to keep. Realistically, I only have room for six machines in my current gameroom. I just don't think keeping both Hardbody and BMX will be a long term option. Going to have fun with them side-by-side for now, but I really think that's the reality of the situation. The timing is just odd with my recent post about never selling Hardbody. The odds of a BMX coming up for sale locally seemed astronomical.
Not home yet, but I picked up a The Shadow at the expo. I kept hearing people say there were no deals, but I thought several of the machines were priced to sell. Met a great seller and can't wait to get it in the lineup.
Quoted from AlexSMendes:BSD is an awesome movie!
Yeah, I've actually reposed that picture a few additional times with the comment about BSD being an exception.
Quoted from lpeters82:Just picked up my first EM...Gold Strike. Probably jumped in over my head with a non-working machine, but I was drawn in by the drop targets.
Quoted from RonSS:Is quoting yourself "a thing" on this board?
I was doing a small edit, but clicked the wrong button. It was quickly deleted.
Quoted from Mopar:Yeah, for that price, you can't lose..
I've seen many 9.6, 9.8, original Gold Strike backglasses, but only one
that was perfect. Can't tell for sure, but if original, your looks pretty close
to it..
The G.S. I presently have set up is pretty nice, but the one I acquired last
year is a little better which is the one with the perfect glass, so I do have
an extra G.S. that I guess is up for trades which I prefer doing opposed to selling..
Backglass has some flaking on the horse and cowboy. Quite a bit of rust on all of the metal parts: coin door, legs, etc. Also the paint on the cabinet is a little beat up. I'm perfectly fine with all of those things. I just need to get it running. Any major "make sure you don't do this..." that I should know before I start tinkering with an EM.
Quoted from chaosrooster:Just got a chance to post this now, had it for a couple days. It's my first pin. I love all the old System 11s especially Pinbot.
A great first machine.
I filled the extra space in my lineup yesterday with a Star Trek: The Next Generation. I'll try to take some pictures later today.
That's fair and somewhat true. I'm always somewhat excited to bring home a new machine, but this ones more for my friends and family. I'm not sure how exciting winning your own quarters back can be. Still it fits perfectly in the only space I have left and I think my kids will get a kick out of it for a little while anyway.
Quoted from dothedoo:Time for a little Stars 2020 love.
I need to get it working, but that will be the next step.
