Quoted from kidchrisso:What was the going price on that MM?
Got if for about the price of a nice TZ. (Less than a NIB MMR).
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:What vehicle is that in? Looks like it just barely made it!
Chris
Very observant. I have moved plenty of pins, always use my wife's Durango, which was in the shop. That is my X5. I measured before I left home and thought it would fit, but when we started sliding it in I was sweating because it definitely looked iffy. Made it though, with < 0.5" to spare. Really was a lucky day.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Is the wife happy? I hope she is. I enjoy mine still after 5 years.
She's had only limited time on it so far. But she likes the art work.
Quoted from dhard:Did you at least give him $2900
Are you kidding? That machine is now 20 years older - he should have paid me to take it!
But yes, I think he did OK since he probably spent very little on it after he bought it - looks like the original rubbers, bulbs, etc.
Quoted from wantdataeast:Geez, I sort of want to say the dude paid too much in 1997 for it at $2850 after two years on location. What was the retail on this pin in 1995?
I just remember hearing on some Todd Tuckey video he mention the many of the 90's Bally Williams game going for $750-$1000 when they were pulled off location.
What a great score for you... TOM is on my short list
I thought the same thing when he showed me the receipt. I think that operator really made out, routed the machine for two years and then probably got most or all of his purchase price back.
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Damn nice pickup vehicle! Is that a GC or a Durango?
Chris
Thanks. My wife’s Durango
Busy few weeks for me. Grabbed a NIB Avengers Infinity Wars from a fellow Pinsider. First NIB for me and it has been issue free out of the box.
Then this weekend picked up a nice JP premium from a different Pinsider. Should hold me for a while!

Had quality problems with the compressor failing on many units, so beverages came out warm.

Yep. I bought one brand new from Home Depot probably 20 years ago when they first came out. Since then bought two others used off craigslist to get parts to continuously rebuild it to keep it running. Trick is to tap the compressor line and just recharge the coolant periodically; but it’s a lot of effort and parts are becoming harder to find.
