Thanks! Yeah I absolutely love it. I was really surprised how much I liked the gameplay and layout. I bought it solely for the cheese factor without ever playing one. Now I need more of these Gottliebs!
How do you like Hollywood Heat? I have yet to play that one, I think it is going to be on my want list now.
Snagged this one today while I had the chance! Knew it would likely be a few years before I had another opportunity to snag one.
Quoted from ForceFlow:
Brought this home last night--Deadly Weapon. Probably paid a little much for it, but considering they only made 803 of these with most going overseas, I figured I might not see another one for a while. The cabinet has some chunks taken out of it along some of the edges and one of the corners (behind one of the legs). Playfield is in pretty good shape, but there is some minor wear on the edges of some inserts, which can probably be touched up without too much trouble. All the plastics are intact. The game needs a shop job, but it booted, coined up, and seemed to be in mostly working order upon a cursory inspection.
Spider-man with some surprise googly eyes I didn't see until I got home and unwrapped it, haha!
Quoted from yzfguy:
Wow, you must have bought from a trusted seller to not view it unwrapped first!
Yeah, I picked it up from Jon @ Jack Bar, I trusted his description and he didn't disappoint. Jack Bar is a nice set up too, GOT Premium + a bunch of others, great place to play pinball if anyone is in the NYC area.
Quoted from stevevt:
And you didn't let me know you were in the neighborhood.
Pretty nice machine you got. I used to own it. No idea what might have happened to it in the last year, though.
It is a nice one! I had no idea it was yours. THe guy mentioned someone named Steve, damn I should have put 2 and 2 together.
Quoted from dmbjunky:
I'm really wanting a gottlieb of that era
Man I love these things. I think they are very often overlooked. The music is awesome on most of them and most of the layouts are very creative. Bone Busters is like nothing else, really original and interesting layout.. non-traditional slings, 1 pop bumper, player controlled diverter. It was worth the 2 years it took me to track it down.
Wow, that means there have been 3 in the northeast this weekend, crazy. It looks really nice. Congrats on the pickup! Now someone needs to hook me up with one!
Picked this up from eabundy late last week, great machine at a great price! I put it in the breakroom at work on free play for everybody. Not sure how much it will get played, we'll see.
Quoted from Colsond3:
Sweet. I was wondering who was going to grab that. Good price too. You didn't waste any time making that drive!
Yeah normally I don't wait too long to grab 'em, old habit from grabbing craigslist deals . I'm really happy with this one, the LED job looks great and it plays like a champ. It's been a good week, 2 wish list games in 7 days!
I am! It is right up my alley. The complexity of the rules and the interface leave a lot to discover and a lot of flexibility when playing. The LCD is great too! Probably the best attract mode ever. I'm really impressed. I'm going to route this one eventually, but when I do, I'm going to buy a 2nd one for my home!
Quoted from jawjaw:
Backbox light out? I would ditch most of the purple bulbs but still an awesome game. I highly recommend getting a powered subwoofer and colordmd.
I doesn't very purple in person, I think it's the camera and lighting. Yeah the backbox light is out, not sure which direction I'm going to go with that yet. I thought about a color DMD, but this is going to go on location for a few months, I'll probably toss one in when I bring it home.
Not a pinball machine, but I picked up this huge and crazy awesome animated neon Kung Fu sign
Quoted from whitey:
This arrived today ! A honest to god time capsule . I don’t think a ball has ever been installed. Will look good with the Bally version/ Stern , a trio .

Grabbed these last night from some great pinsiders! I'm tired, they're still in the van lol.
Quoted from MT45:
Good eyes guys. No idea why that was done. I took a real close look to see if maybe it covered some damage or maybe was painting over some other writing but nothing, nada.
Even tried looking under a bright light but still nothing there ...
Stern used to do that with most/all of their machines as far as I know. I think all of my older ones had that.
Just brought this guy home! It'll clean up nicely, the front hasp hole needs some cleaning up, but overall it's pretty nice. The cab isn't faded like it looks in the picture, no wrinkles in the topper either. This is the only time I have ever landed a machine by asking about a game in the background of an ad, worked out great!
