Quoted from atrainn:

Got this bad boy for free today. A friend put me in contact with someone who had a pinball machine they no longer wanted and I certainly wasn't expecting free... Needs a bit of TLC but it should come out great![quoted image][quoted image]

Awesome! Congrats

Franky is arriving-nice pin

#17117 3 years ago
Quoted from JethroP:Picked this up a few days ago while the wife is out of town. I wonder what she's gonna say when she comes home and sees it in the bedroom?!
[quoted image]

you might habe to move out from the bedroom together with your new toy

Quoted from mark532011:

Not quite the epic shot i had envisioned. But the rain changed the plan. That is a Revenge From Mars and Whirlwind under all the wrapping. That RFM is a heavy beast!!
[quoted image]

Especially when one does not remove the easily removable head...was also too lazy recently

Quoted from SilverUnicorn:

Wait, is that in the bathroom?! If so it's still having a rough life. LOL
Chris

Nono, it's the former kitchen of a little house built in the 60ies. Transformed it into my workshop and pinballhouse.
The paperroll you see is not what you think it is...but maybe for giants

Quoted from Mathazar:

Thanx! Might as well show you current day/2022.
Like a goldfish in a bowl, pin ownership tends to grow to the size of the enclosure.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

hah, nice development
I also wanted to just have one game (TAF) and ended up owning some more of them...

Apparently it has a superbonus token prize dispenser in it. I was really confused when I tried to turn the game on and felt a hole filled with what seemed like poker chips LOL.
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
Translation: "Winning 1 superbonus corresponds to a special prize that can be granted by ejecting 1 token. Applying a tube token dispenser with a reel and connecting it as shown in the diagram will result in the ejection of the token and its entry in accounting.”

Never heard of that game or manufacturer before
Layout looks interesting-nice ramps and some flashers even in the speakerpanel

The storm is coming...
...just noticed I have already 5 Lawlor pins

#25247 1 year ago
Quoted from tamoore:

When I started collecting I convinced myself that I liked Ritchie pins more than I liked Lawlor pins, but at some point I noticed that I had 1 Ritchie game an 5 Lawlor games.
And Whirlwind is the best pinball game ever made. It's the pinnacle. There are good before and after, but it nailed what pinball is perfectly. Congrats!

Thank you
I also think that I prefer flowy games, thus I do not play TZ a lot at the moment
Curious how Whirlwind plays as I never played it before. It showed up locally and one has to be fast and grab what you can get

I also wanted to have just one pin
