I think "nice" is an understatement. That thing looks awesome! Alt translight, color DMD, what appears to be a nice and shiny playfield... I'm only basing this off of one picture where we can't see the entire game, but that thing looks awesome! Nice pick up.
Thanks. It's a thing of beauty - playfield has almost no wear at all, and the LED conversion is perfect. I'd like to keep this one until I can get to "Final Battle" so that might be for life...
The exposure in the room is not bad, so there will never be direct sunlight, just a lot of ambient light shining through. Will that fade the cab? I will prob move this into the darker arcade soon, but love it here.
My nephew (tjc02002) and I went in on the deal 50/50. All the games need a good cleaning & shop-job, and some need minor work. The arcade was looking to sell all their old pinball machines and replace them with newer games that could earn more $$ per day. If you can't tell from the truck pictures, the titles are Theatre of Magic, Addams Family, Attack from Mars, Terminator 2, Funhouse, Cyclone, Comet, and Sterns - Simpson's Pinball Party, Elvis, and Ripley's. It will be fun going through these over the next few months!

I think your reading that wrong, there getting rid of the pinball machines in favor of other types ofmachines like redemption machines and things like that that will make more money$$$ .. (or I'm reading it wrong)
You're both right and wrong I think. They are definitely going to favor other types of machines, but will most likely put a couple new pinball machines in there as well, which will hopefully be more reliable. My guess is they will put 2 or 3 pinball machines in there versus the 10 we pulled out. Time will tell.
Quoted from ForceFlow:
Well, looks like I spoke too soon. It will boot 2-3 times, then that will be it for several tries before it finally starts booting again.
IIRC, there are a couple of cooling fans in there, and if the PC overheats it will shut down. Make sure both fans are working - I recommend replacing the originals with ball-bearing fans for longer life...
Interesting weekend - grabbed a classic Bally, a modern Stern, and an upright arcade machine...
