Friday night I had the pleasure of driving up to Colson's house in Levittown, PA to look at and potentially buy a Conquest 200 pinball machine. What an awesome dude! I can't say enough good things about him and his hospitality. I could have purchased this machine sight unseen, because he described it 100% perfectly and even provided a video backing up all of his claims. I wish all Pinside transactions were this simple. Upon arrival he gave me a quick tour of his mancave which has some pretty awesome pins in the lineup. My girlfriend got to play several games she has never played before while me and Colson geeked out over pinball. Since this was my first ever EM purchase, Colson took the time to show me the game inside out and what to look for if the game has any problems (A+++ service). After I paid him for the pinball machine I then went out to grab my tools and he told me not to worry about it. He single handedly took the game apart, loaded it up on the dolly, and loaded it into my mini-van. Throughout the entire transaction he gave me a plethora of pointers on tearing down games, loading/unloading them, and transporting them. Hell I had no idea I should lay cardboard down over the carpet of the mini-van to avoid snags in the carpet from the pinball machine. To top it all off, he even threw in an EM file for the switches and decent bag of LED lights. He is also now a part of Lights of Pinball, so be sure to support Lights Out Pinball and don't ever be afraid to deal with Colson, he is a stand up guy! Thanks Colson!

Game is now unloaded and in the basement. Enjoy the pics!

Chad, another one already? You are totally out of control dude. You and gdonovan should sponsor each other for the support group. LOL.

That's it! I didn't buy anything at Allentown. This was my purchase instead. Out of space now. So the only other new additions would be via trade only.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Me got you....again. Brought this back home from the guy in Long Island I sold it to last year. Didn't hesitate given the excellent condition and NOS backglass.
And in true pinball illness form, checked out the ol' let go app on the way up and found a second game in Brooklyn to pick up on the way home. I have issues.

So, transporting on the side is OK? I thought I read one time that was a no no. Enlighten me!

Brought home a Sure Shot a couple of days ago. Before moving it into the basement I decided to leave it in the garage as we had a block party planned for the weekend and decided I would put the game out for everyone to enjoy. I also provided the entertainment(DJing & games), the community water slide, the outdoor movie, and the fireworks show. Kids loved the pinball machine!

Housing development is sitting on old farmland, so no trees except the tiny trees everyone has planted in the front yard. Development is only a couple of years of old.

Brought home Grand Prix on Saturday. I bought it 45 minutes before 27 kids showed up at my house for the first ever kids pinball tournament in Delaware. When I bought it I noticed the pops and slings did not work. Didn’t have time to troubleshoot before the tourney began so we rolled with it as is. After the tourney I popped it open and the fuse was bad. So we got a nice working example now!

I got it for 175$ on craigslist. Seller gave me the wrong ac adaptor so Ive ordered one with the correct power voltage. Also its a drain monster so Im getting an old Bally Red saver cap to mount in the middle of drain and hope to replace the flipper buttons with something better. I already added some Funko Toys to the outside of playfield to liven it up. It is a toy but its a fun toy.
I have a Total nuclear on order but I may not see that till 2019 so this will provide some fun.

I have 2 Pirate Zizzles. By default they truly are drain monsters. I instantly added a center post, outlane posts on both sides and adjusted the ball guide on the left loop and this helped immensely! All my ideas came from:

Did you propose to her surrounded by a bunch of middle age white male pinheads?-Classic

Mostly! The proposal was done during the First State Flippers August Annihilation event on 8/4/18. 50 people in attendance, mostly middle aged, haha. Although we had about 10 women in attendance that day along with 2 of our kids who were all playing in the tournament. It was quite the surprise. Below is a short clip of the proposal recorded by the local newspaper.

The things we do for a pinball machine. Wait, let me rephrase that. The things I do for my fiancé for a pinball machine! I headed out at 1030am this morning and got to drive through the Nor’Easter that hit the east coast on one of the worst stretches of highway in America 95/495! Well after 6 hours I have my fiancé’s machine loaded up and now I’m driving 3 hours back home! Fun times!

Oh yea, in the middle all of this I swung by the workplace of another Pinsider and dropped off my No Fear to them!

Big thanks to MrWizzo for letting this go from his collection. He has owned this pin for almost 20 years and he also gave me a generous offer for this machine. Also got a set of NOS extra plastics and a NOS Bigfoot Head.

The quick backstory, I told my fiancé I was going to DC to look at one of my grail pins, an Eight Ball Deluxe. When I got it unloaded last night and allowed her to pull the blanket off, she was beyond ecstatic once she saw it was a White Water!
