Quoted from Micky:Nice pick up. Hook was my first pin too. Such a great, fun pin.
Yeah was a great find really enjoy the game play and picking up a new machine tomorrow..... damn my addictive personalitie this new one is going to burn a hole in my pocket
Quoted from bigd1979:Brought this beauty home... its stunning after some lighting changes and some ultra detailing...
Awesome find i found one the other day and it sold a hour after the guy posted so sad the pain in real
Hi all just picked up Bride of pinbot my 2nd pinball machine
I wasn't really looking for it but it come up for a really cheap price.... i now know why on one of the ramps the sensor flip is snapped off the ramp didn't even see it when i picked up plus a few other things that need a touch up
If anyone could point me in the right place to fix that ramp thing would be great i was thinking of just cutting and melting some more acrylic then pre drilling some holes and fitting it again might work
I would like to do a full resto on this so if anyone has a PDF of the art work PM me and ill be happy to donate or paypal you some coin for the files thanks
Quoted from Boof-Ed:Is it the cabinet art or playfield? I think that one had a little insert damage. I don't know if you can get an insert decal set for it or if you'd have to make your own. Cabinet decals are available for it.
Hi mate yeah Cabinet decals wouldn't mind giving it a fresh look on life
Need a left ramp if playing the pin
Added a photo found some on line but if want one has or knows of a cheap place would be very grateful
I ordered new mylar and a full set of new rubbers and balls and Novus 1 and 2 to clean up the playfield to the best of my ability
Any help would be great paying 300 seems a little crazy i have a large format printer so would just print at home
Thanks again for the reply ill ask on main forum as i don't want to hi jack this page with my dramas
Quoted from darkryder:I joined the JJP club yesterday. Bought them both in a package deal. The light, sound and video effects on these games is just unreal!

Quoted from Beez:Brought home a Beautiful Loaded Avatar LE !!!!!
Love it !!!
Great looking room
Quoted from yzfguy:Rudy is NO lady, BUCKO!!!
I know the cabinet is the lady his a rudy and is inside her....
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:Story is, my niece works at a restore and they don't take arcade/pinball games. Her co worker who does the pickups on things like furniture and appliances, mentioned to my niece about a pinball machine an old lady just wanted to get rid of in her basement, kids and grandkids had grown, etc and she just wanted it gone. (my niece had told them I was into pinball so that's why he gave her the heads up)
I had forgotten my tools on the way over to get it, and all I had was a pair of plyers and a flat head, and wouldn't you know, no key for the headbox. Hacking that lock wasn't fun but I had to, because the bolt was in there preventing the head from going down.
I guess she had it for around 20 years in a windowless basement, the batteries were dated for 1999. Playfield was black/dirty but wiped it down and is easily the nicest Black Rose I've seen. Plays like new too. First free to come along.
That is a epic find you need to go see that old lady and buy her something nice like some flowers and a lotto ticket or something as a thank you a little goes a long way even if you dont still a awesome score well done
Picked up 2 machines today one project and one that just needs a clean
Project needs a new cabinet but ill try send and repair first but looks to far gone all parts are there apparently soon find out on the rebuild
Also did a mini resto and re decal on my bride this weekend she turned out great still need to change a few lights but ran out of LEDs
Quoted from Arrakis:Picked up my very first pin last night! Pretty satisfied with my choice.
Nice score now don't do what i did a buy 6 in my first month of owning a pinball then decide to start a project pin
All the while my partner is getting the scissors ready to snip my nuts off and make them a topper on one of the pins haha
Enjoy mate look after the machine and it will keep giving you love

In great condition for age the person before me has had it for 20 years will be giving a good clean do a service replace all rubbers and lighting to leds
I already changed all the backbox lights to LEDs but will need to order a few more
