Not a great score, and not worth a lot. And a little rough around the edges. No not me, the machine. But interesting because not to many made.

Posted this on Facebook and got the same comments. I don’t know whether to be insulted or flattered. But wish I had his money. LOL

What game is it?

Thought someone on here would have known. Not a popular game, but interesting and not many around. And I really like the artwork.

Drove 9 hours today round trip and ended up with normal body temperature (37 degrees centigrade).

Nice, and playfield looks good. If a little upside down.

Finally get to post here after months of jealousy. Thanks to Doug in Salem (has a stellar collection btw).
She’s got some high mileage but I’m going to buff her up.

Just got mine a couple of months ago. Great game, enjoy.

They just keep following me home. My wife is talking about doing an intervention.

#17818 3 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

Tell her that an intervention is not needed until you get 25 pins.

Well, only have 12 in the current "collection", but the Top Score is the 41st I have purchased in 4.5 years have been in the hobby. So does that count as more than 25, or do I only have to count the ones I currently own? And she is wrong anyway, I can stop any time. Really, I can.

Quoted from guard:

Lousy early morning pic but worth the 03:30 wake up to get out on the road and pic up minties Atlantis and Big Hit.

Nice, and worth the early morning drive.

Ok two days ago. Took a little to get it playing. And it still only play a two player game. But back glass and playfield are really nice.

Completely out of room. But couldn’t resist one more classic. I’ll find a spot for it somewhere. Any guesses?

Got it. In pretty good condition. And it’s the most I have ever paid for an em. It plays, everything works. Someone painted the legs with an automotive blue. Looks good so don’t plan to change them. Front two are twisted though. Have to see if that is original. Excited about cleaning it up and fixing the couple of minor bugs.

Quoted from Ballypin:

My guess is that you will put it in the living room.

Only after the divorce. My wonderful wife completely supports my addiction. Right up to the door between the house and garage.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Nice pick up. Never saw one of those before. Love EM’s with bagatelles in the backbox. Adds something to gameplay. My first EM was a Pot O Gold.
I see a space theme going on there. Now get back to fixing those games on the left!!

Thanks. And the games visible on the left work. The parts are from Space Shuttle almost done. But under the games on the left is a serious project Doodle Bug which is next in line.

Quoted from Pinkitten:

It’s great when our wives or husbands join the long, dry pinball journeys we make. It’s much more fun when it’s a road trip. She has a nice smile!

Yes it is, and yes she does. And she has her first pinball machine. Bride of Pinbpot. Bride's laugh is an exact electronic version of my wife's. And it is the only game she likes to play. So let her choose colors of all the LED's on the playfield and in the back box.

Quoted from KSUWildcatFan:

I'm not big on colored GI in general but it seems more appropriate to do up top than down low (at least that seems to be the consensus I've found). Personally I get irritated when I can't see the ball, like..the entire time I'm playing. I like putting splashes of purple into games wherever I think I can get away with it so I can definitely appreciate the posts, flipper rubbers, etc!
Nice-looking machine; congrats on the pickup!

Thanks. And got lucky in it has a beautiful clear coated play field. And yes kept the bottom white to see to play.

Quoted from Quicksilver1:

After owning a Quicksilver 10 years ago and ultimately selling it due to circumstances out of my control, I was finally able to re-acquire my favorite pinball ever. Having to sell it has been one of my biggest regrets and has been eating at me for the past decade. I picked up this restored QS this past weekend and have been on cloud 9 since. I'm not a collector, just a huge pinball fan who fell in love with this game as an 11 year old when I played it for the first time in my mall arcade 41 years ago. I feel fortunate to have been given a second chance at getting one, and this one will be staying.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Very nice, dual spinners, two sets of drops, and clear coated pf. Beautiful.

Guardians. First time I played it, thought if I could ever afford a "newer" pin, this would be the one. Thanks to a small inheritance from my Dad, picked up this beautiful Pro today. Thank you Dad, miss you. Know you are smiling because you could do this for me.

Santa and Marillyn are in the house. Being a 10,000 lights Christmas decorating guy, been wanting a Taxi since the first time I saw it had Santa on it. And Marilyn was a nice bonus.

On my wish list. When I get the room to add a few more machines. Just for the back glass.

Nice, on my wish list. Once I have room and money. Shadow, not Ranchero.

Quoted from poppapin:

Gonna re-do the cab?

I have to look in to that more. The red and black looks like original paint, even though doesn’t match the ipbd pics. Even the top of the back box is that color. And the back box cover is red and black. It certainly could be just a really well done repaint. For right now it went in to the line up as is. And will stay that way a while. Have three other projects ahead of it.

Just picked up one of the nicest Fishtails I have seen. Wouldn’t have thought to powder coat the legs and lock down bar orange. But it works.
