I think they moved it up and smashed into something, snapped the lock and it fell forward smashing the glass
Quoted from Blazed:I know that ES. It actually fell off the truck going around a corner when it was being moved on route.
Figures.
It lives!
ESRunning.jpgQuoted from BigB:Here is my latest addition. I am finally getting around to bringing it home and getting it set up. It was raining the day I brought it home so I had to take it apart and load the pieces inside of my truck. I will post more pictures as I progress.
Comet?
I've got to say. Enjoying the thrill of bringing a machine home, and seeing others do it. This is my favorite "favorite" thread!
Quoted from Lmjdad:Just picked up this on Friday. My third and final Spirit.
Please tell me you're bringing that to PaGG!
Quoted from Pecos:I'm hoping that the keys will show up or that I have a key that will work because I sure don't want to drill out these old, original locks.
Watch some youtube videos and see if you can pick the coin door. If so the backbox key might be in there. Once you get them open you can take them to a locksmith and ask for them to be rekeyed. Some they can do and some they cannot. If they can it's usually super easy for them to do.
Quoted from wantdataeast:'Unfortunately sir, your free 7'x6' Harbor Freight tarp failed to completely protect it from the element while it sat outside last year.'
I literally laughed in his face when he suggested he find his extension cord so i could test it out.
I offered $50 and reluctantly paid $75.
Probably just needs a fuse!
Quoted from ForceFlow:Keep in mind, there are several revisions to that booklet, and the latest one is FO 560-3, which supersedes all previous versions.
Yeah I've been using this: http://arcarc.xmission.com/Pinball/PDF%20Pinball%20Misc/FO-560%20Repair%20Proceedures.pdf
still cool to have a printed one even if it's the wrong version
Awesome. I have a "1C" board that I've taken a break from. I notice more info in that section so I'll take another stab at it.
Thanks!
Quoted from Schusler:Nice... let me know when you want to sell it!
I'm already 3 dibs deep on it
Quoted from Cheddar:OK I got it home and set it up. Needs new rubbers but plays great. Playfield was updated to an nos ones few years back. Backglass is near perfect. I never thought I'd own a Gottlieb Eclipse. I'm even more pleased to have it to remember Steve Charland by.
Quoted from kidchrisso:Man...pinch me! Can this week get any better?
great looking machine. But....where are her knee tentacles?
Quoted from V_piscopo:Nice score. No need to work on it. Send it my way. Love me some royal flush!
I think you can find one cheaper on that coast.
Quoted from Colsond3:I wonder if that's the Time Fantasy I was playing at Pintastic last year...nice grab. Such an awkwardly awesome and attractive game.
I don't know. Seller lives in Vermont.
Quoted from Aladdin:And I just snuck this Hot Line into my basement!
nice pickup. I'd love to have a hotline
Quoted from pinostalgia:that's a long trek to tuolumne buddy, congrats you deserve it.
It's worth it for super cheap pins
Quoted from V_piscopo:BARN FIND! Looks like these mice are going to need a new home. Will actually clean up real nice!
[quoted image][quoted image]
My RF was full of mice too. Only 8 chewed wires and all but 2 of the inserts fell out. Will clean up nice once I get it working
Quoted from RazorV23:Brought this home last week....[quoted image]
WOW They actually sold it. There is a pinsider who was trying to purchase it so he could put it in a children's hospital but they weren't interested. If I can find his name I'll send it to you
Quoted from RazorV23:It took some convincing but I got it for a bit less than there asking. After shopping, it’s gonna to go to a local charity called Spinners for a bit then maybe to a local hospital.
You are a credit to this hobby!
Quoted from V_piscopo:I hope those dirty mice enjoy their new home as much as I will enjoy their old home.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I just pulled pounds of mouse crap out of a Royal Flush. They love those things
Quoted from pinostalgia:how's the hollywood heat going? i'm excited for you.
HH has a few games ahead of it. I am being very diligent about getting projects done and moving them on
Quoted from Colsond3:Man...why didn’t Bally and Williams (and every other manufacturer) take lessons from Playmatic or Zaccaria on how to make playfields???
So much great artwork compromised and worn down on B/W, and even GTB titles.
Just a moderate wipe down with Novus 1 on this Fantasy...scuffs and grime come up, ball track gone, shiny and smooth. Nuts.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I've got a Sonic Super Straight with a failing cab and white corrosion on the arch and other metal pieces (topside only fortunately) and an absolutely gorgeous playfield. They knew how to make em
Quoted from Colsond3:Nice Cheddar. That’s not one you see every day. PF looks like it’s in awesome shape too.
Yeah it should clean up nice. One thing I never knew: the lines on their faces that make them looks like wangs is actually hair. It is so much worse now!
Quoted from Cloud7:I've been saying for awhile if a victory came up for sale locally I'd get it. Well, today I did just that!
[quoted image]
I've been thinking of grabbing one myself. Looks seriously underated
Quoted from Zartan:You should pack for NASA! Lol
I love the 2012 pilot. The newer models are smaller
Quoted from cottonm4:I'm too poor to buy NIB. I do have a Munsters I bought with 55 plays on. It came with all of the paperwork except there was no tag warning about shooter rod dangers.
I don't recall ever hearing of anyone picking up a used pin talking about how they almost destroyed everything by using the shooter rod as a handle.
Perhaps is it is disease limited to NIB buyers only
I've bought used pins with bent shooter rods. Nothing that wasn't fixed by turning the rod the other way and lifting the machine with it.
Quoted from JethroP:Just unloaded this AbraCadabra. Been on my wishlist for a few years. Previous owner had for 30 years, the last 20 years was wrapped in a blanket in storage warehouse. The cabinet, playfield, and backglass are pristine! Absolutely beautiful!
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
That poor TX! Let me give it the love it deserves!
Quoted from EJS:Yeah backglass is about an 8 there are some cracks in the paint but pretty good for system 1
The playfield has a little insert wear in the middle but not enough to justify a new playfield in my opinion.
It appears the little transformer is completely shot
Lets see a pic of it.
Quoted from bluespin:Countdown?
Yep cab shows evidence of being outside and the backbox may be a total loss. Backglass and pf are decent though and very little corrosion on the metal parts
Quoted from ThatOneDude:I sold a Millionaire a few months back, and the gentleman showed up in a Prius. By the gods, we got it to fit!
I sold a Charlie's Angels to a guy with a prius. Practically had to drive home with the head in his lap but it worked
