Is it the cabinet art or playfield? I think that one had a little insert damage. I don't know if you can get an insert decal set for it or if you'd have to make your own. Cabinet decals are available for it.

Rescued this today from A 10 year slumber in a shed(barn). Very dusty. I gave it a quick wipe from the right flipper to the speech ballon to see the art under the muck.

They are my problem now. When I asked if the batteries were removed before the hibernation I got "batteries? What batteries? It plugs in the wall. " I had my answer to my question right there.

Have you ever seen pictures of pin that looks much better than the game does in person. That's this pin. It is very photogenic unlike me who has one eye closed and pulling some painful expression in every photo ever taken of me.
Don't get me wrong it's not a basket case by any means.
The decals have been ripped off in places and hand painted(badly). Back box hinges have been bent and having problems folding it down. Playfield has horrible touch ups everywhere. Broken plastics and ramps.

The coin door is new,back glass is original and perfect and it plays so it definitely has some very good points. These photos look much better than it actually does.
It came with a replacement playfield in much better condition,new decals and new cpr plastic set. I have spare ramps.

Creech is back! With some extras though. It left about 12 months ago with no hologram and I traded it back with a new repro hologram today. Picked up about half another creech project too.

Not a whole machine but a swep1 playfield conversion kit with bugger all games played on it. With space being a problem I can have two games and only the one cabinet. Perfect!

It takes about 5 mins at the moment. I have a new cpu coming so I don’t have to swap the prism card and daughter board out each time but it is still quite easy.

The Judge has arrived. Wasn’t working but was a bargain price. Replaced corroded cpu and a dicky display driver, a good clean, flippers rebuilt and LEDs. Its now a really nice game.

Here’s a few pics of the Orbitor 1 I picked up over the weekend up north.
Guy claims they have had it since 84. I don’t know, maybe. I suspect his timeline is off a bit though. Definitely a very clean machine. So far I’m having to fix one of the optos on the spinning target, a missing post, and a loose coil and a few other minor things. The battery leaked a little, but doesn’t seem to have caused any problems. Going to put new rubbers in this weekend.
Funny because I underbid one of these last month at auction that was in way worse shape and got this one for 1k less.

Brought home a project with lots of potential. Cab is a bit rough but the playfield looks amazing under a full Mylar. Started removing it to see. Haven’t finished removal yet(adhesive and a little Mylar still on) but just had to take a picture.

A project Banzai. Wasn’t meant to be a much of a project but when it arrived it seems it’s definitely needing a hell of a lot more work than expected. Gotta love buying interstate from pictures. Even these pictures I took look much better than it actually is. Must be a very photogenic pinball. Already having a very nice one is probably making this one look much worse maybe?

Finally got this major project home. I actually bought it over 12 months ago. Long story but the short version includes isolated area In another state I purchased from, a friends family member passing away (he was packing it and getting it to a transport company or me.) Transport companies ridiculous cost and to top it all off a pandemic that shut all states off from each other.
All actually works which I’m very surprised about. The back glass is a classic. They look like the Caspers not Simpsons. For $600 I think it’s a bargain.

Finally got this title in the collection. Now have 4 of the 5 I played as a teen down the shops.
This one needs heaps of work.
Can’t believe somebody put LEDs in but didn’t clean it. Absolutely filthy. Got straight to work.

I could finally pick this up today after transport issues. Needs a lot of cleaning up but that’s half(maybe more) of the fun.

This thing has been rotting for a while. Time to save it!
Guy has owned it for over 20 years and it never had hinge bracket bolts. No bolt to hold the backbox to the cab either, just the clip at the back. How it stayed on the cab is anyone’s guess.

This found its way home after releasing it a few months ago. They say if you love something set it free. Well I guess this is truly mine now.
Before this ends up in the rainbow puke thread, it’s all white GI. Only blue in the shooter lane and looks nothing like this is person. Phone Camera makes it look hideous.

For me it’s 100% to keep dust off. Got sick of wiping the glass down.
I used the non slip drawer liner for a bit but found it would leave a mark on the glass when left on for a reasonable amount of time.
I’ve ended up just using towels with magnets that stick to the headbox hinges.

That’s my room. They are all playfields I have replaced in games I’ve restored. I find a playfield in restorable condition and restore it myself. Clear coat and mount it to the wall for 8-12 months before installing in the game. Old playfield replaced the good one and becomes art.

If you love some thing, set it free!
Woz has returned. A friend begged me to sell it back to him after a couple of months as his daughter was upset about it leaving his collection. I agreed with the provision that I get first option if he ever sold it again. He called me a week ago saying he’s ready to move it on again and offered it back.

Jurassic came home with me today. Got the nod of approval from the boss. I always let her play the first game when I bring one home, kind of a little thing we have been doing for years.
Usually the only game she ever plays on them but this time she played for 30 mins, turned to me and said this one stays.

Bought sight unseen from a newby who was told it was near mint.
Spilt front of cab on both sides, diverter coil fried, raised inserts, flakey flipper opto board and filthy underneath says otherwise.
I cut him some slack for the condition as he’s a nice guy and I can sort it all out.
