Three times a charm.
Owned the LE twice. Nice to have the full size back box/backglass. First generation cabinet is still the best IMO. But there’s no doubt the Mylar of the gen 3 has preserved the playfield nicely. And the hinged backglass is really handy. No water damage the the MDF sides although they are faded. New decals will be added for sure. Excited to get this up and running.

Yea I'm pretty pumped to go through this one as its the cleanest PF that I have seen on a EBD. Backglass is mint too. There are certainly some benefits to the 84' machine. Have you made posts on your 81'?

I can't agree enough about the hinged backglass. Really makes things easy. Boy that stencil really works well with the 3rd gen and its all black front. Very nicely done. I haven't started looking for replacement decals yet but hope someone steps to the plate and produces them. People seem to not like the "good guy" cowboy as much but after seeing a non faded example I like it alot. Colors pop too. Thanks for sharing.

Silver Dollar Saloon by Fun Industries (previously known as J.F Frantz) manufactured sometime between the late 80's and mid 90's. This is the same company that produced the ABT style gun games of the 1920's such as US Marshal.
This is mostly a PM or pure mechanical with the only electricity being backlight GI provided by an incandescent bulb. Not needed for operation. This specific model offers both the amusement of the gun game with rankings based on number of hits with allowed shots and a reward dispensed from the top compartment in the form of gumball, candy or other.
This machine will be getting some love later this year. More details/pics to come.

Two companies (several more names) have been making machines of this type for roughly 100 years so that doesn't surprise me. The top houses gumballs, candy, or other toys you would typically get from a quarter vending machine.
