I was in the middle of refinishing my game room when a good deal (I hope) on a routed TSPP came up 4 hours south of me, so 3.75K$ and 8 hours of driving later this is what I came home with.

Needs all the flippers rebuilt, some decals, and rubbers, but the playfield, ramps, mechs, and toys are all good to great, just a tad grimy.

My one concern is the bit of battery leak damage, only on the component side of the board, which was cleaned with only flux remover according to the previous owner. One chip leg is a bit green.

Think I should hit it with some vinegar? I already have a replacement IC and socket en-route with a ridiculous 6 flipper rebuild kits.

I am loving it so far even with the flipper slop.

after a marathon 24 hours with lots of stops for coffee and inexplicably double that number of stops to pee, I've come home with my first machine newer than a whitestar!

Very happy with how much lighter they are and the ease with which they update, not as happy with the boot times, the power cable location and length (thought it does make moving them easier), or the power switch change, but the game itself is phenomenal.

And thanks to the pinside archives and a little googlefu I founds lots of great tips that helped me get both the machine I brought for trade, and this Deadpool back, through some serious rain in the bed of my truck without a drop hitting them.

F̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶P̶r̶e̶m̶i̶u̶m̶

and only ~12 hours of driving!

What a layout, holy shit. Very happy right now.
