Quoted from Skyemont:No big deal but the prices were good. Rollergames, Aztec and Captain Fantastic.

Nice, very nice. An Aztec and a Caiptan too? Very nice indeed.

It's a very cool playfield layout and seen in so many titles. Hope you like it. I got it in the Gold Strike variant a couple weeks ago, fun layout.
Her dad bought it when she was eight. It’s not polite to ask a woman her age but Betsy was retiring and moving to Florida. It was her pinball machine.

Am I nuts ? My wife says yes. [quoted image][quoted image]
Grew up on the Shore. Man I miss the crab cakes.
Quoted from JRC6000:Picked this up from a very nice couple who had it in their house since the 1980s. They were very concerned when I didn’t show up with a pickup or a trailer. Yep, the Explorer works just fine.

Should see the faces when I show up in a Ford Escape

That the one with the lower cab painted white? I was so tempted……
Quoted from transprtr4u:The artwork is great ... found the sound effects on the game a little annoying..
Fun game though ...
That's a big turn off for me, the early SS sounds just don't compare to a chime unit.
Quoted from PlanetExpress:Here’s an easy to guess one:

FWIW, the back box doesn’t fit into the back of an iD.4, unless maybe if I’d put it in flat and then had someone tip it up while I wedged the cab in under it. I didn’t have a passenger, so I didn’t need to get too creative, just lay the passenger seat down and let the head ride there.
Not sure of the title but those Gottlieb cabinets are fantastic. A four player title?

Nice! Playfield looks to be in great condition too.

Please post pics in the All Hail Ted Zale thread in the EM section.
Congrats!
Quoted from cottonm4:Key point: A lot of people cannot repair the boards. Or perhaps more importantly, cannot trouble shoot what the problem is. And there are not that many people around the country who can.
Given a choice of a new Alltek or Weebly board for around $150.00, or packing and shipping a board off to some long distance repair shop, paying $150.00 for the repair plus shipping both ways, I'd take the repro boards and get back to playing.
Agreed, and the components on the original bords will not last forever as they become prone to failure with age.
The new replacement boards also keep the hobby going and allow for stored games with seriously damaged/missing board a new life.
Quoted from PinJim:To each their own. Surface mount stuff is hard to repair. Older stuff, much easier. Then again, I love doing board work. And I love keeping stuff OEM.
Yes, of course they are easier.
The aging of the components is undeniable.
