Argosy!!!! That's a keeper!!!!
Quoted from Puffdanny:You haven't seen the back glass.he kept it in a 3 season room off the house and the temperature changes over 15 years took its toll. It needs some cleaning and adjusting since it stays on player 1 ball 1 but it flips good and I think all the switches work and score properly.
Bummer about the back glass, but the machine is fun. We bought an Argosy 3 weeks ago and it was stuck on 1 player games. I'm brand new to EMs and after watching some YouTube videos, I was able to take apart the player stepper unit in the head, clean it, and get it working again. Such a fun multi-player game!
Quoted from Puffdanny:Took some Coca Cola and aluminum foil to the metal and WOW.Unfortunately there's plenty of ball swirl I doubt will come out (looks way worse in person)but I'll do what I can this weekend and give it my first full em go through and service the stepper.Hopefully I can do my first 100% fix without my tech like a real wizard

Argosy!!!! Looking awesome! Make sure you join the Argosy thread, we need all the members we can get over there! haha.
High-Tap that transformer and snap some photos of the stepper unit so you get the springs all back where they belong! You'll be ripping the spinner in no time!
Quoted from BZarrCaptain:It's finally off my wishlist and into my collection! Many thanks to Pete (IBuyPinballs) for a great game and great transaction!

Pete is great to buy games from!
Picked up a Card Whiz in a Jet Spin base cabinet and a project Fireball!

More EMs is always the answer. Be careful, all those drop targets will turn you into a drop target addict.
Quoted from ibuypinballs:Last weeks haul. 28 machines from one home. All will be for sale. Some missing backglasses. Lots of nice project machines, 4 still in the trailer. Will start next week posting market place ads once I look them over.

Awesome Pete! I see a couple that I would love to buy.
Quoted from La4s:Nice pickup. Always room for one more, even when you are out of room.
I'm officially full. No more room in the pinball room. If I didn't have two wedge heads, I would only be able to fit 5 machines lined up.
Quoted from pinzrfun:Couple weeks ago, combo platter. Guy said he tried to give them away for a couple weeks but nobody wanted them.
Owned them both in the past, glad to have them back in the fold.

Amazing! Very cool to get those EMs! No wonder you look so happy!
Aww man, you guys are getting some great projects! How cool is that Centaur and man I love the artwork on Genie!
Quoted from transprtr4u:The artwork is great ... found the sound effects on the game a little annoying..
Fun game though ...
Haha. I hate the sound too and I’ve never even played it.
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:This was an older guy, who said his wife got them from an operator 20-25 years ago who was selling off a lot of his games. He literally hadn’t touched or fixed any of them in that time and said he didn’t know how to.
The price for the lot was too good to be true, $300 for all, but sure enough, I lucked out and was able to pick them all up.
So far I’ve gotten Solar Ride up and running. Cpu had issues, and the ball trough coil was clipped and missing the drop target coil, but otherwise, really good shape.
Got it all going and I can’t believe how fun that game is for how simple it is.
Mars God of war had every fuse blown under the playfield for some strange reason along with two melted coils and corroded connectors but super clean under the hood and a mylared playfield. Spent several hours on that one today, and got it 100% playing just after midnight tonight. It helps having some spare Gottlieb parts around from over the years.
Tomorrow I may dabble on the solar city and hot tip and see what they’re up to.
What a great find. It's amazing that batches of pinball machines can still be bought so cheaply. Very cool that you could get the solid state machines working again so quickly. Hot Tip and Solar City would be keepers for me for sure.
Quoted from Jamesays:Got Jacks Open 1 hour each way.

Congratulations! That looks nice!
Time Zone/Space Time is pretty easy to work on and the top side of the playfield isn't too difficult to depopulate and clean up. Get those pop bumpers adjusted for maximum fun.
Sweet Bow and Arrow. That's a fun machine and Bally EMs aren't hard to get working. What a deal. You are living right.
Quoted from Da-Shaker:Wow, that Dracula looks very nice.
I agree 100%. What a great looking machine. Added it to my wish list to one day own.
I enjoy learning and trying to repair boards myself, but admit I've also bought a replacement lamp board that works fantastic.
Quoted from Bundy:Doesn´t have to be the freight company. If you buy from Great American Pinball they will do it for you already at the warehouse
[quoted image]
Isn’t that why rack shelving storage was invented?
It looks minty fresh and it comes with an extra playfield!!! And for only $2,200! Amazing deal there. I would have grabbed that too!
