It took quite a few attempts to get my first machine, but I've finally joined the club!
Many thanks to sagejr for sharing his knowledge and information in person and to all of you who have made Pinside such a great resource for newbies looking to get in the game.

5 months ago I got my first game and I was reading all these things about how they tend to multiply. I had a really solid plan though - I was going to stick with just that one for about a year or so to try to learn about the maintenance and the work involved. A time period to try to decide if I wanted to actually own pins or just be satisfied playing on location. You know, just kind of sticking a toe in the water.
Friday I took a trip and came back with 3 more. Looks like I'm here to stay for awhile...
