Picked up my First NIB after 71 pins.

MET would be my first choice of NIB too. Great pin!!

200 more miles to home. Carting back one of my grail pins; a MB. I left at 4 AM this morning for the 800 mile round trip from Memphis to Louisville.

Quoted from Colsond3:

Looks pretty good...a shame the previous owner touched up / repainted the cab and backbox horribly

I know they "butchered it" but I have it now and will get it back to It's former glory over time, hoping someone will produce a set of top quality stencils for it, I might actually send Pinball Pimp an email and see if he can produce a set, "Hoping anyway". There is also a piece of the cabinet under the door where the base sits in that is broken and missing, but I have already found a piece of matching plywood and a carpenter friend of mine has cut it to size so we just have to fit it and clean it up to blend in the way it should, but still very happy and excited to own one.

With the Ghostbusters poster in the background! Was that your first NIB?

I really wanted to pick up GBLE but TH just called out to me, and I had to answer the call.

Depending upon what paint was used, you might have luck with Motsenbockers latex paint remover, or alcohol. You may need to be gentle with the alcohol, since there's a risk of removing the original paint if you're not careful. novus 2 is also an option, but since this is an abrasive, you may also need to be careful with it so you also don't remove the original paint.

In summary, I would suggest trying the latex paint remover first, then try a little bit of alcohol to remove most of it, then finish up carefully with novus 2 so as to avoid chemically removing the original paint.

Fish Tales is now in the lineup! The best part is that it only took 4 hours of total travel time to get it. Happy to have it and WH2O next to each other at last.

Hi ForceFlow
Thanks for the advice, I will give it a go and be very careful doing it, I would rather not make it any worse than it already is so I will pick a less obvious spot to start and see how it goes from there, any "too much coming off"and I will stop very quickly and leave it.

Happy to have added CFTBL today. Collection is only at 3 tables, but it will grow. AFMr is on order. Love seeing everyone's collections. I'm in northwest NJ, pm if youre around and want to enjoy some beer and pins.

Just something I wasn't clear about in my original post--if the paint is not latex paint, then the latex paint remover will have no effect. If it is latex paint, it should come off without too much effort.

Bought this bad boy last night. $1850. The Play field has all new inserts and was clear coated. I'm very happy. (I think for a players machine it is a very good example). Looks great and runs great. What do you guys think?

Looks great! Can't go wrong with a cleared PF, especially for that price. Love BK2K. Great music on that pin.

Ty, Yes I love the music from that game. Get ready for battle.... beat the black knight.. dodoodododoodoooodooo... How much do you think the value would be on that machine (Not that I ever plan to sell it lol).

Really depends...cab condition, backglass good, boards clean and unhacked.., etc. It would definitely be worth at least what you paid for it if the BG is great and cab is nice, or slightly above that.

Very nice BK2K great buy, always thuoght they did a great job with design, along the lines of the original, but modernised for it's time with great game play.

It may be a mess, but it is another Pinball that has been saved. It does look like interesting play and zipper flippers witn a ball return gate. Looks like it would be fun to play when it is up and working.

Never heard of it. Is this all custom, or was there actually a getaway cars edition? Or Indi 500 cars edition for that matter?
EDIT. After drooling over those images more, it is definitely an Indi 500, just all custom graphics including playfield. Amazing. If you ever want to sell.....

Just rethemes > HS2 into Cars1 and Indy500 into Cars2. Both have Pinsound cards and I changed all the original sounds/music into the Cars movie sounds/music. Custom translights. And lots of custom interactive mods.

My kids love Disney Cars. And with Cars3 coming out this June we thought and Cars pins would be appropriate!

Still working on both pins. Slow, but a fun retheme project.

I won this 1956 Genco Hi-Fly pitch and bat at an auction a few weeks ago. Yesterday, I finally had the time to bring it home and install it.

The machine is in very nice condition. It was fully restored in 2003, including the woodwork and a cabinet paint job in the original patterns. It spent all its time after that in a collector's home.

This oldie is fully working and tons of fun. Pitch and bats are extremely rare here in Europe, so I'm extra happy I snagged this one. Probably overpaid too (no idea what these are worth), but what the hell.

There's a few Pitch and Bats that's not your average Pitch
and Bat, and that Genco is one of them.. It's a Homer..

You could use Mustang for Cars 3, or maybe viper night driving, or corvette or ...

I can't get over the rethemes, great work!
