Thanks for the welcome!

I've run into a problem in only my second game. Nothing like throwing me into the fire! LOL If someone can take a look at the T2 thread and offer some assistance (so as not to crowd this thread), I'd *really* appreciate it. I want to play some more, but don't want to break anything...

Great find today. Needs a little love, but I'll take it after moving the last two I had and regretting it. Next phone call...Shay. By the way, anybody have a spare MPU laying around?

HEY! Sending PM

#4554 7 years ago
Quoted from Fezmid:

I still have to read the manual to figure out how to load the balls into the pin

You put them in the coin return. The machine will suck them into place.

Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:

Man, you're welcome to swing by anytime if you're in the NYC area and I'm around. Just Pm me. It's super embarrassing having every mediocre high score in my name haha... I have literally zero real life pinball nerd friends here.

Definitely will. Might be heading up your way in the next week or two. I'll be happy to throw up a few high scores on your games.

Brought home a BTTF today while out with the family, for only $800. Managed to squeeze it in with the car seat still in the car. Was my second good deal I have found recently. Picked up a T2 the other week for $850. Both pins are pretty dirty as they have been sitting for a couple decades without being cleaned, and have some associated wear and tear issues, but overall I think they will clean up nicely.

Amazing find. How do you guys find these?

These two were from watching some new classifieds apps that the local competition probably isn't checking yet.

#4567 7 years ago
Quoted from Rondogg:

I agree. My local distributor didn't have any commitments from buyers but sold out his first alottment in 2 days once he received them.

People must have been waiting on good feedback from play at the shows.

I only have a dozen plays on it so far but really looking forward to getting deep into it.

That's the right attitude. I had a similar problem a while back.
Ended up taking the head off and slide it all the way to the coin door (almost ripped the wire harness off). But it fit.

These stupid cars nowerdays are all way too low.
I had 4 station wagons all too low.
Next time i buy one,i let the tape measure decide if it's a deal or no deal.

Yup, on the freeway sitting with our backs against the tailgate bouncing a tennis ball off the back window...ahh the good ole days

Got 2 in a package deal...wasnt really looking for more pins as the gameroom is filling up but a friend really needed them gone quickly so here they are..both games have actually been here before, I bought the CBW about 3 years ago in a package deal. Then it was sold to a friend who sold it to a friend. The guy he sold it to had the Johnny already but the hand didnt work , had some switch errors, and was filthy so he asked me to bring it home, repair, clean and add LEDs some time last year......CBW is in players condition, the playfield is in really good shape but the cab is not, plays 100%...Johnny plays fast and playfield is in fantastic shape but wow look at that cabinet fade, must have spent years near a window. Im not sure yet if I will put on new cab decals or just sell it as is...
Both will be up for sale soon

#4596 7 years ago

Well, if it's got a nice playfield, it should all be good after a few burnt fingertips

#4597 7 years ago

the pimp thing to do would be punch those into some male/female connectors and keep the detachable functionality.

Quoted from yzfguy:

I once got in a Bally ball bowler and the main inch or so diameter wire harness was cut.
That's the cloth extremely color faded wire harness, but for $250.00 delivered, I'll take it..
After completed, two wires were wrong. Switched them around and all okay..

Yeah strip twist solder shrink will be the methodology. Taking a pause to take a trip to the national zoo with my family. I just happen to be in Baltimore this weekend. Anyone local want to help put this sucker back together tonight with me and my father in law?

We have beer in Ellicott City!

Ps. Playfield is not that great but hey if I can get it playing and keep it under $1200 I am considering it a winner.
