Quoted from Chosen_S:That is the most upside down and most clean mm I've ever seen
That's how he gets the little bits of junk out of the bottom of the cabinet! I guess it would work but seems like more work than simply vacuuming would be...
Quoted from Arrakis:Picked up my very first pin last night! Pretty satisfied with my choice.
Nice score now don't do what i did a buy 6 in my first month of owning a pinball then decide to start a project pin
All the while my partner is getting the scissors ready to snip my nuts off and make them a topper on one of the pins haha

If sof was my only game, I think I would be ok with that, I love every square inch of it, even the absence of pops is a-ok

I can definitely see myself picking up a few more over time but for now I'm super pumped to just have my SoF. Plus I think I'll be buying a pinball dolly before another Machine

I thought TAF would be the only one ever, back in 2013...
Then I never thought I'd buy more machines than I had space to set up for...
Now I'm in a situation where I swap in machines from the garage.
The next step is probably routing machines or renting space in a warehouse

Sounds like a good problem to have!
Quoted from egyptrus:Just picked this one up. Pretty tough to guess with it covered so I'll just tell you what it is. Got a minstrel man today. A bit older than what I normally collect but figured why not.
Can you post more pics? That game is really neat. If I remember right it has some really cool stand ups.
Found this On Beam in a mans warehouse deep in Ohio. He told me he put this game up on the rack 30+ years ago. Now it is free !!
Old 60's Bally's are super hard to find and even a 4 hour drive each way wont dissuade me from going to get it.
I am grateful to have this one to add to my humble Bally collection.
I love seeing all of the old treasures that all of you find across the country.
Probably my favorite thread here .

Got 2 new arrivals today. First one is a Doctor Who. Not sure if I'm going to keep this one or not. I might clean it up and send it on its way, but maybe I'll fall in love with it! The other one is a game that is a personal grail to me and I'm happy to say I'm finally an owner of one: Haunted House!
I bought these sight unseen and I had to run home from work today to take delivery, but I have barely looked at them at all. Not sure of the condition yet (supposed to be pretty good shape though). I can't wait to get home and start tinkering!! This is how I left them in my basement and the wait to get off work is killing me!!

Nice score!!! You'll like DWHO. It's a fun game. And that's always the case...that's why when games are delivered or I pick them up I don't go back to work. I try to "work" from home. And now you're making me miss my HH even more...
like new
Quoted from schudel5:Picked up yesterday down in Indianapolis. Cleanest inside of any EM I've ever had. It needs a good shop as I think the rubber rings and bulbs are still from 1977.
Quoted from simplykind:Didn't expect to pick this up anytime soon, but sh*t happens.
Nice score

When you get tired of that Dr. Who... let me know.
I'm practically your neighbor.

Wow, that IS clean!

Once I get it set up, I sure will. I believe it has some of the first "drop" targets but you hit the stand up in front and something behind it would drop. I'd like to get it set up sooner than later to see what I actually have as I didn't bother to plug it in while I was picking it up as the owner said it hadn't been turned on in 20+ years.

Quoted from cosmokramer:Pretty much tapped out after the last two Saturdays but this came up for sale fairly cheap so I couldnt resitst...
Nice, and the cab seems to be in good shape. I have one with a crappy cab and would love one like yours. It's a lot of fun for sure.

gotta love when your hand is forced.

Wow what a awesome find!
Surprise pickups are always the most exciting. Especially when the pickup is one of the classics... Cheap and dirty as hell too, just the way I like 'em.
Who says you can't take it with you?
Edit:
SoI took off the translite. Did I mention the game is dirty? Check out these before, during and after pictures of the back of the translite... Now this is one dirty TAF...
Quoted from Cserold:Double trouble tonight.
getting two in that vehicle might be more impressive.
Beautiful Revenge From Mars!
I was told it had a very dim monitor, got an excellent deal. I replaced every cap on monitor chassis and the neck board . Then discovered a bent pin in yoke of the picture tube where the neck board attaches. After the re-cap and the adjusted pin it worked perfectly.
