'Unfortunately sir, your free 7'x6' Harbor Freight tarp failed to completely protect it from the elements while it sat outside all last year.'l
I literally laughed in his face when he suggested he find his extension cord so i could test it out.
I offered $50 and reluctantly paid $75.

Not super into this era of machines, but couldn't pass this one up. Pictures just after a wipe-down with Novus 1/2. Game is missing MPU - any cheap options to replace it?

Sheesh! This was that 'guy' that literally has no room for pinball, but still wants to keep it around anyway

Probably just needs a fuse!

Got it playing yet?

Meteor's a great game. Can you use Alltek boards for it?
I don't have pictures but I brought home a Gottlieb World Series, a Williams Stop 'N' Go and a Gottlieb Road Race today. I just started hunting for games that I can donate for upcoming fundraisers and got lucky to find a seller that had these 3 games. It was a good day!
Dave
Picked up 2 machines today one project and one that just needs a clean
Project needs a new cabinet but ill try send and repair first but looks to far gone all parts are there apparently soon find out on the rebuild
Also did a mini resto and re decal on my bride this weekend she turned out great still need to change a few lights but ran out of LEDs
"Two Ted Zale 'zipper flipper' games left to go..."
Something that has not been seen often in the pinball world in over 45 years since factory production, and may not be seen again for a very long time. THREE Four Million B.C. EM pinball machines (Bally, 1971) side-by-side together once again. My game is the one in the middle, in "purist" non-LED colored form. Road trip complete.
Finally found a real nice paragon. Playfield in good shape that I will be swapping out with a NOS playfield being worked on by Kruzman.
Backglass is near perfect and cabinet in good shape.

Game looks nice...always did like the art on Paragon. Just so many have horrible playfields and backglasses that are shot.

And definitely not something that you will see often, if ever again.
3 hour round trip at 6 am this morning. Home before work started! Had to take it easy last night to make this happen. Boards powered up when twsted, nothing else. Got it home, reseated everything, new batts, checked fuses and it works. Trough issue but it plays.

nice. i'm sure you were completely focused on work all day then right?
Quoted from rcbrown316:nice. i'm sure you were completely focused on work all day then right?
100% focused, just on the wrong job. When noon came around I unloaded and got to work/played, spent a little too much time on it. And yeah... been researching all day, aquiring parts needed etc. Haha
Brought home today a nice example of a No Fear. Cabinet faded but playfield nice, goodiesbag was still in the cabinet. Ramp entrance broken, will need to make some kind of protector covering it up but that's it. Nothing else a good cleaning job will not solve as far as I can see now

I would love to know what you paid.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:I traded my Ghostbusters Premium and cash considerations for Hobbit Smaug HUO. Needs a tech to get it dialed in but otherwise it's amazing
A tech to dial it in? Seriously?

I bet you'll have TH for 6 weeks tops...
You need a solid system 11 that you can sink your teeth into imo. I don't think deep busy rules are your thing, you seem to push a lot of those types out the door pretty quickly

That is one nice playfield ! Great find, and it's a fun game
Quoted from FatPanda:Brought home a Gorgar yesterday! Machine #2
congrats! 2 games already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me know when you get some repair skills under your belt and want to borrow a game

Taxi and Gorgar were my first 2 machines too. This means that you must have good taste.

Nothing is broken yet. I reconnected the bell on Taxi, and Gorgar is all up and running. Going to LED it out and replace the speaker. It has some ground in dirt on the pf, but I'm going to do my best to try to clean it up and not take paint off, but both play well. Gorgar can be a big A though, tough outlane drains haha.

Nice! Looking to add a few more in time. Need to do some remodeling and rearranging though

congrats! I love taxi also!

Quoted from Chosen_S:I second that
I heard that Dialed In already comes dialed in. So if you end up with one of those, you should be good.
Through networking with friends, I got in contact with an ex-Bally employee who worked from 1979-1981. He was a sound engineer and worked on Frontier. He had these two pieces of pinball "stuff" left from his time at Bally, which I struck a deal on. I don't know how many Bigfoot backglasss (actually plexiglass) were actually made, but there can't be many....

Holy Macaroni, that's one hell of a find. That's only the second BF backglass I've ever seen.
Did he happen to mention any existence of BF machines?
Two very unique pieces of pinball history.
Both are very rare, one more than the other.
I would pay good money to add the BigFoot to my extensive backglass collection.

I could use that playfield for my Vampire...was going to strip and clear coat the one I have anyway as I'm in the process of a full resto. Any chance you want to sell that? Pretty please!!
