So excited to welcome the arrival of the first game I loved as a kid, Cyclone. This one is an absolute beauty, a labor of love and my first full resto with LEDs and a CPR playfield. Couldn't pass it up.

Wife was not happy when I backed up last night with 3 games. Lol. If she gets her way, funhouse will be getting listed soon. I figure I got a couple months at least before that happens. Maybe I'll bring it to yegpin in May and sell it afterwards.

#4205 2 years ago

Man I'd love to have that Funhouse dirk. How about making a nice short trip to Allentown, PA this spring. The weather is lovely in early May.

I am more of an old school guy and am thrilled to add a stunning Astro to my collection! The play field is beautiful, backglass nearly perfect. A hard to find machine, never mind in this condition. Plays great as well, fast and fun. Even my son is enjoying it!

Dk jr and joust! Love those games!!!

#4212 2 years ago

I would love a joust cab.

#4213 2 years ago

Nice pickup. I have a joust cab with the jrok multi game at home.

#4214 2 years ago

I have an original that I somewhat restored, but it looks super good for having three jousts and making one nice one

very cool.

Give us the break down...

Installer, cost, rebate, payoff prediction, how much power you will generate vs use

Have been thinking about the rooftop solar thing for about 2 years; but will be moving in about a year and a half and renting this house out as a rental property.

Looks cool... I've heard rumors about people wanting to use Tesla batteries (or building a "battery wall") in tandem with solar, but nothing more than rumors.

Just be careful up there in NH. Snow will slide off those panels like an avalanche. You don't want to be on the front porch if/when it happens.

Pick up this HUO today!

I bought the system (not leasing) through GSS (Granite State Solar). System was $40k (40150 to be exact) for everything (materials, install, permits, electrical, etc) but I am getting $18k back for the rebate. Town also has some small kickbacks as well (tax incentives). The $22k that I have the loan out for is 2.9% financing. Break even is 7 yrs 1 month. Panels have a 25 yr warranty from LG and the system is 12yrs full warranty.

System is rated at 14400 kWh for my area and direction they are pointed. (we use about 11000 kWh /yr). Luckily my house faces south and gets sun all day from dusk til dawn. There are two tall trees that may come down in the spring that cast a shadow but GSS said they really wouldn't affect it much. Since I will be generating more than needed, the extra goes as credit back into the grid (I have a bidirectional meter). Night time and long winter months I will use some of the credit. I can transfer any credit to others on the grid (like my parents) or cash it in every 3 months and get a nice check (less than what they charge per kWh of course).

Didn't you have one game a month ago? LOL. Congrats on the lack of self control we all share on here.

Picked up this not so commonly-seen game, had to...especially with a working topper and excellent PF (besides my infatuation with horror pins). This is the original GB Totally out of space, so hopefully it can stay a while!!

Actually not really. If I wasn't bringing home a new pinball machine, maybe. But knowing that's what did it really made it OK. I guess my priorities are right where they should be.

Found myself one, but still can't have it work.
Hopefully I'll find the time to fix it shortly...

Great pick !

Definitely...one of the few GTB Premier games you actually want to own (Robo Wars above is certainly another, maybe Stargate). Just hope I can keep it around. Seems my will to have games is much bigger than the space I currently have, and I have to end up moving them on at least for now. Since I posted I was downsizing in November and sold some really nice examples of games I've had (which I now regret), it seems my collection has actually increased. This hobby really is a friggin illness...

Responded to an CL post about pinball machines, but was a little late and missed out. Ended up with a truck full of arcades instead. So damn excited for the Space Harriet Deluxe. Definitely a grail arcade for me.

I see someone smash their back window out of their truck probably once every other auction. People forget the cabinet tops slope backwards. They lay it down, push hard, then hear the crunch.
