Quoted from Colsond3:

And the incandescents were bothering me, so after a little cleaning and partial LED treatment...
Still more work to go.

Damn, I always thought D&D was one of the best looking pins out ever - how does it play? Nice score!

Hope you enjoy your Addams Family as much as I enjoy mine . Will be the last one in my collection to go

Quoted from mario_1_up:Picked this up last night.

Busy morning...

My em lineup. Now I just need to find space to keep them all up.

I see a Grand Prix in the back

dont plan on it being done for a long time. I put my personal TAF on route 3 years ago and it is still out. People love TAF (for good reason)

Sold most my pins off when I bought my house about two years ago. Was finally able to pick a few up last night!

Okay, not exactly today but last week. Finally got then m up on their legs to begin a long winter of nighttime pinball work. None of them work. All had a rough life on route and bad storage. Decent price for the group, though.

A rare one that's been on my list for a while. Missed out on a nice one from Crispin earlier this year unfortunately. It is definitely a unique game, with an odd cabinet tapering up the back and a ton of plastics on the PF. Believe it or not, it's a pretty good player with a surprisingly tight layout. Sound is awesome on it, and the art is well done, especially the cab. Original mylar on this, so the PF is immaculate. Definitely one of the Bally Midway games that are worth having...as many of the BM games were kind of ehhh.

That'll teach you to try to get away from the sickness!

Me and my son Jake drove to Phoenix Arizona a 12 hr trip to pick up this beautiful Attack From Mars to add to the collection. Very fun and AWSOME to play.

Found this Kings and Queens for $250 when I went to pick up a shuffleboard table. Funny thing is that my wife said no more pins until she had a shuffleboard table. Chuckled quite a bit when I saw it. Technically my first "find". Needs some work but overall not bad.

Nice! Where was the drive? Solo or with a companion? I drove 1350 for a TAF two years ago; the things we do for this hobby!

Had my dad pick me up a freedom today at the show in St Charles IL, I'll grab it when I go back to IL for the holidays, and haul it back here to NY. Roundabout pickup lol.

I too love seeing this.

#3670 3 years ago

Wow Oilrat, congrats on the beautiful AFM! Gotta love the long hauls with the anticipation of seeing the pin 1st hand and then the Cheshire grin on your face as you drive all the way home with the score!! I received a ticket once 5 mins away from leaving Maryland for changing lanes while slowing down as I approached a red light. Even after arguing the officer's logic while receiving the ticket I still couldn't lose my Cheshire grin from the score.

#3671 3 years ago

Lol ya I was so excited that my son asked a couple of times how fast I was going but I was only thinking about getting home to play it lol. Didn't realize that I was doing 91 mph lol.

I finally decided to get around to getting out my Joust (Bally, 1969).
"Veterans Day Special" moment.
Few tweaks, nothing major to get the game "dialed in" (the new pinball lingo term, right?).
My girlfriend played the first few games as I promised, because she put it together.
Still need to replace the thumper bumper caps to get rid of the GI light burns.
I put up my EBD again as well, for a some quick memories.

Space is a bit of an issue right now, so collectors have to be careful and make sure you generate extra support all the time...

Just finished a 15 hr drive back from Grand Ole Gameroom Expo in Nashville with LOTR in the back of the Q7. Found that backbox had to be disconnected to fit inside the height of the loading window. Luckily could just remove the bolts inside the backbox and not have to disconnect any of the maze of wires. Mirror blades prevented removal on the other end of the brackets. Where there's a will, there's a way. Many thanks to a couple fellow pinheads for the help!!

Not today, but just picked this beauty up last weekend!!! Waited for a nice one of these for a long time...so thanks to Pinjunky for a smooth transaction and giving me first dibs. I changed the cellar to blue LED's, but other than that game was plug and play. I think at 17 miles round trip, it's practically the shortest distance I've ever driven for a pin. This game rocks...awesome, and fit right in with the horror pin line up like a long-lost brother!

Cool Scary line up

Gottiebs Jungle Queen in the house! According to the fella I bought it off he was the third owner and it spent most of it's life in the pinball arcade in Collingwood. Collingwood is a small year round resort town here in southern ontario. I don't believe it has ever been shopped since it was taken from the arcade. Back box metal cover intact, original keys, they couldn't find the paperwork but when they do...they will send it to me. It was moved to fellas warm dry basement many years ago. His reaction when I opened it up was one of astonishment. So he, nor the guy he got it from never knew it came apart because his said 'I'm going to have to tell Fred, its actually easy to move'
Considering it has 144k plays on the meter, the interior looks clean, and the playfield wear is minimal. Backglass undamaged except for some of the see through parts, and that looks to be minor.

Number 42 is home!

Screened Cab. Playfield restored and cleared by Bill Davis.

Now for a little cleaning, adjust flips, replace all rings, slide in some PDI glass and then get that ColorDMD installed.

1972 sega rifleman shooter.

1967 was the production year, always loved the game.
Production concluded in 1968.
They used heavy springs to generate the gun shot "effect".

http://www.pinrepair.com/arcade/riflema.htm

Most of these were fazed out of arcades by the late 70s.

Hey thanks. I don't know why I typed 1972?

There's a tube amplifier inside that amplifies the gunshot sound. Amazing that it still works.

Picked up a restored WH20 today. It has new decals, ramps, boulders, and Mirco playfields.

I'm going to put in a color dmd, LEDs in the backbox, and get some new instruction cards and it will be good to go.

I hope the sewer drainpipe with the WH20 in the photo never breaks, or it will bring new meaning to the concept with the games beside it.
The callout will become "Brown water!!!"
