I didn't pick these up they were actually delivered to me and yes I did know what I was buying and I paid decent money for them. Part of the hobby for me is parting out "junk" machines and getting parts to people who need them. I love buying machines like this because there is no doubt they are for parts.

With that side I am actually going to try to save two of the six I bought that looked like this. There was a very rare Bally Black Jack (only 120 made as EM's) and a sought after Gottlieb Jacks Open in this lot. Since playfields are not as bad as cabinets I am going to transfer parts from those two machines into other cabinets.

Anyway - I though this post might put a smile on a few faces this morning after looking at all the "pertty stuff" other people posted!

Was that game used for a floating dock support?

There were actually 6 machines in the lot of 6 machines that all looked about the same. Thankfully they were all set up on legs in a bay of a garage with a bad roof. I know most people would say way "thankfully" but the playfield glass kept the water out of the cabinets for the most part so everything but the lock bar receivers and coil doors should still be salvageable. Stuff in the heads is another story - sadly most of that is scrap.

Most people would say I am out of my mind for even dealing with them and if I ever posted what I traded for them people would think I was insane but I hate to see parts go to waste so I'll salvage as much as possible.

Should have been WHY thankfully not WAY thankfully - I need to learn to proof read before I post!

I feel the same , its a waste if they end up at the tip, I have wrecked quite a few now, in almost as bad condition as the ones pictured , And they had several mummified rats inside as they had been stored in a garden shed for years , I strip then out and all the scrap steel gets sent to the scrap yard , I do save what i can steppers coils etc...

Brought these home late last night and will unload today in the light to see what I really have.SANY2841.JPG

Picked them both up this past Sunday. I have a beat up EM that still functions great and plays well despite being sadistic at times, but this purchase was pretty huge for me. Loved CFTBL since I was a kid and WCS was one I knew I had to have since playing it at PAPA. They're dirty as hell, a couple broken plastics but nothing a little elbow grease, careful planning, and gobs and gobs of money won't fix. Only pic I have of them both so far, sorry it was taken in a cave.
