My first habitrail and only two months from being the newest pin in the collection. The backglass/translite is missing so I will probably buy the alternate translite and pass on the corporate types in the background on the original translite.

I got this and a Gottlieb Royal Flush from some guys who were shutting down their route here in Tucson. Thanks guys for the great prices and machines! Good thing they only had two pins!

Radical! - awesome. I've always wanted to play one, the ramps look sick. I've never seen one around here.

NICE odin!

What is the story with her? Where did she come from? Who did the restore?

It has a perfect original backglass and from what I can tell it was a very nice machine to begin with. However it's playfield was replaced with an NOS BALLY playfield clearcoated by HSA.

The restore was done by Robert U. of Pinballmania in Utah. He takes great pride in his work, and IMO he does about as good a job as it gets. He packages the games accordingly as you can see.

The photo album of the after restore can be viewed here-

If this is not the nicest Skateball in the world, I'd like to see the one that is. But it wouldn't really matter...

I am patiently waiting for the next surf/skate themed pinball machine to be announced. It's been way too long, and is long overdue.

Not exactly TODAY but this is my latest acquisition. Came with full led playfield. I swapped the florescent translite lamp for an led tube. Replaced the power cord (that was missing its ground prong). Love it. Fun game!

So just a few days after starting a Hardbody thread, and saying how it might be "the last machine I would sell", I find it's slightly older brother. E.T., err...I mean BMX was just 15-minutes from my house. Picked it up and unloaded it on my lunch break. Has quite a bit of wear, but the backglass condition was a nice surprise. It's going to need some hopefully minor repairs and lots of TLC.

Congratulations and welcome to the club. Don't think I could ever part with mine. Great game with a way better theme than hardbody.

My issue is going to be figuring out which one to keep. Realistically, I only have room for six machines in my current gameroom. I just don't think keeping both Hardbody and BMX will be a long term option. Going to have fun with them side-by-side for now, but I really think that's the reality of the situation. The timing is just odd with my recent post about never selling Hardbody. The odds of a BMX coming up for sale locally seemed astronomical.

It seems like I haven't added anything to this thread in a while.

But yesterday, I picked up a Black Hole. Same owner for about 30 years. It had been stored in a basement for several years after it stopped working, so it was covered in dust and mouse droppings. The keys were missing, so I had to drill both locks.

Cab is rough, MPU has battery damage (and did not boot), but the playfields and backglasses are pretty good.

The giant sticker is actually a decal on the underside of the playfield glass, and not on the apron. (whew)

If you decide to sell one, I'd be willing to buy either one.

Would love to find a decent "project" Black hole, I remember that when it came out on route. Was really different than anything else at the time! Nice find.

Wow, nice find. I started playing pins in the 1990s, and never played Future Spa until I came across one at Pin-a-go-go last spring. I was surprised how good that game is.
