That T2 looks great, love to see more of it. The story is really great. 1991 HUO, great find!

I will "open it up" in a few months.
Too nice to stay indoors right now.
Enthusiasts will be amazed at the playfield.
I was.

We have a huge halloween/pinball party every year. Those are zombies I started building for our front yard display. Later it went into my line up.

Picked up a DM for a song today. I saw an add and was the first one to talk to the seller. The translite is faded and it has a damaged CPU board from the leaking batteries. DMD is also gone and backbox decals are not the best. Playfield id dirty but in good shape otherwise. The seller was surprisingly honest with his description and he said that he replaced the fuse and that it did blew immediatelly so it was not the usual"probably just a fuse talk" .

I'm stoked! Now to bribe a friend or two to help me get it inside.

I'll post pics when I get it set up.

Picked this project up today. This is after I stripped most of the playfield. It needs some board and other work, but hopefully it'll make a decent player after some TLC.

Drove yesterday for a total of 8 hours, to Miami area and back for this pickup.
One reason, was to see if I could drive this long, as I havent for 14 months.
Think Im good to drive to the Texas Show now!

Well, Whoa Nellie hooked me, and the only woodrails I have/had were from the 30's.

Had to find one....this one came home.

All original, doesnt appear to be opened in 30 years!!! No Hacks, tight, original wiring, all labels...really nice!

Whats also cool is the center cover in the playfeld is metal, screened metal...really nice!

Havent touched it yet...looking forward to making this rock!

What in the world?

I know you've had a lot of pins O-din, have you ever owned a Dracula? I think it's a pretty cool game but I don't know if it'll be your cup of tea.

#3188 7 years ago
Quoted from dmbjunky:

I've never had a Dracula before. I have had just about every other DMD I ever wanted at one time or another. I've played BSD in the past and told myself if I ever found a nice one, I'd consider picking it up.

After seeing the condition of this one, I didn't hesitate. The guy had it for years in a very dark room so there is no fade, and also very little signs of use period. I need to thoroughly go thru it and shop it as it looks like it hasn't been done in years.

We'll play it for a while, and as soon as I'm done with my Earthshaker, it will go into the back room for the whole treatment. I don't care if it's 20 years old or 60 years old, when I'm done it will be clean and mean.

I hope you like it. It reminds me of early SS games rather than a DMD because of the score based gameplay instead of mode based. There are only a handful of shots but the tension comes from trying to keep the ball alive. The outlanes are hungry and with lightning flippers if you make a flipper error say bye-bye.

#3190 7 years ago

Looks like it has the original lightning flippers on it. Compared to some of the others I have, keeping the ball alive on this one is childs play. But I do like the groove of the thing.

I bought this Bounty Hunter over a year ago, just managed to pick it up. It appears to be in pretty good shape, haven't even plugged it in. The PO said they haven't used it in many years. I just unloaded it,have to hit the road back to Kansas.

#3195 7 years ago

Equally worthy.

Another original Gorgar backglass duplicate backglass acquired.
Superb, non-faded, non-flaking condition.
No damage to mirroring.
Light scratches.

Gift from a close pinball friend.
Provided pre framed.
Hung right now for safety.

The backglass will be donated eventually to a protege in the future to get them jump started into the "world of pinball".
