Congrats! Looks like there may be a few happy Tolkien fans in your family!

If so, you all might appreciate reading this...

This the Drac PF after a quick cleanup. I'm pleased enough with the outcome that I'm seriously considering leaving it as-is. Upper pf wear and some key lines need work. Other than that....I know I'm going to play the heck out of it while I make up my mind.

Nice pick up mate ,
I noticed It has a 'custom' plastic over the kick out hole , The one with Darc's head on it .
Looks great , but i think it has been made from part of another Top Right plastic ?
I had to remake this plastic for a Dracula i have .
If you need a file for the correct Art here it is .

On another note . Heres a couple of Drac's i own , one US made the other Aussie ,
We built about 300 Drac's here and about the same amount for around 7 Stern titles from about 1978 to 1980ish.
Same art but Silkscreened instead of the USA made Stencilled artwork .

This project came home last night. From what I was told, it broke, and then sat in a basement for many many years. Only 57k games on the play meter, and it really looks like that was all it had on it. Every mech is frozen up and there is some sticky gunk on the playfield, but it is complete. And the best part, the cab is totally solid. I'm very excited to gut this thing and bring it back to its former glory.

We need to take a trip out of country to search for hard to find pins. I want some Brazilian Taito pins so badly.

I'm down for a trip. I could use a break. Might be more cost efficient for us to just charter a small plane...with plenty of cargo area. Hahaha

As you should be..........awesome game. A lot of BSD's coming home lately in this thread, and another with what appears to be no fade. Welcome to the club.

i'll be honest, that's the good side. other side has a gradual fade out to the u-l-a. that will strategically be faced towards the bathroom corner of my basement. this will be my first pin on row/wall 2. it seems these things multiply.

Thanks to a super speedy and excellent transaction from Player1,
I parked this very nice Sorcerer in our storage space this morning.
Transferring to the house and setting up soon!

Love this game! How much you pay?

Congrats on the machine and it sure does look a beauty however I don't think using a bat like lucille is going to help with the ghosting issues ( sorry , I couldn't resist ).

I met the nicest ABF delivery man today, who dropped off my new IMVE. We also talked about pinball for 15 minutes. Before he left, I gave him a nice tip and put a smile on his face.

Thanks to Automated and ABF for making my day!

Ashame you're not closer...I'd take one of them off your hands, especially if any have the no stars backglass.

Thursday night my 3-year old daughter must have overheard me on the phone. All night she kept saying "I want my own line up." Brought home a little Marvel Hulk game for her yesterday to put next to her Wico Big Top. She's been playing Hulk since 6am...and I'm tired. At least she's happy that she can finally play a game without a stool.

They came from Dr Martens boots,I helped them source the machines years ago and the games were put in their stores for decoration.I refurbished a few over the years and did maintenance on them as well. The(Dr Martens) North American headquarters are here in Portland,so when the stores' decor changed, they got sent back to the warehouse and ultimately they sold them to me to gain space as they didn't plan on using them again.Thought it was kinda fun to see 4 of them in one place. The machines all have the stars on the back glasses and all have the green colored rollovers,so no rare ones in the bunch.

Gigi, 1963 Gottleib EM
Operational status unknown. Probably just needs a fuse. $100
Very dirty but looks like it will clean up well.

Playfield and backglass look pretty good. I like the way they spell "Speshul".

Here are a couple I picked up over the weekend. found a stuck stand up switch on the Time Warp (thanks to some pinsiders) and broke the Casanova down to clean up...over-all both are pretty decent machines, could use a better back glass for the Casanova

Beautiful Elvira. Restored or original?

#3099 7 years ago

In fairness I brought this home on Saturday but I've been stupid busy since then and just now had the chance to post it up.
Best part, I found it through a local friend and only had to drive 20 minutes to pick it up. Bonus points for the Chexx that they happened to have which I also brought home.
