Amazing pinball story:

Met Linda Deal (artist name) who worked at Williams and did iconic artwork for some of the biggest titles in Pinbaldom.
Ultimately bought her original TOM and CHampion Pub. She was given these games as being part of the design team and they stayed in the household…never venturing into the wild!

A lot lot more to this story, including some of the orginsl artwork for TOM!, CV and DM

She has sooo many excellent stories and my friend Rob (music city pinball/game terminal) is going to help her put some of the OG artwork into the pinball community.

I didn’t realize the painstaking hours that went into the art process and before computers it was hard to fathom.

Seeing the brush strokes up close on TOM and Demo Man gave me a whole different perspective.

Stay tuned in different thread…

The double spinners are fun to rip, and the gold/silver scoring on this game is quite neat as well. It might be my favorite EM I've played yet.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. Never played one much before.

Played a few games before we broke it down, and it has a lot of cool shots. Plays smooth as butter and flippers are adjusted nicely. I’ll set it up and keep it running smoothly until he grabs or has me ship it.

Dirty but playfield is nice and cabinet is decent.
Gonna make a good father-son project.
Currently set it up temporarily in the garage, I will probably move this inside the house and place it in my 5 year old sons room

Thanks! Atlantis is partially restored. New paint, plastics, drops, legs, etc. Playfield is not restored but is in pretty good shape, some insert cupping. Wizard is fully restored.

I make some leg protectors that are a little larger than those you have that will cover that probably, if you want to try a set PM me.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I may still have some of the proper black paint, so it might just get touched up. I typically don't put cabinet protectors on, but these came with the game, so I just slapped them back on.

michigan and ohio…almost 1500 miles and this has to be it for a while until I can do some 2 for 1, 3 for 1 trades or sell some games!

Bad Cats- wife played in first tourney and took 1st place in her match so of course…got the nod to buy this one. Hard title to find, great Python art and really fun 1 ball play.

Mystic- had my eye out for one as I’m really digging the early 80s ballet games and have played this a few times in the tourney. Stencil kit included if I want to do cabinet as the rest is cherry with amazing playfield, backglass and boards

wow…what a game it is! Played last night as I brought home last week and left with only a couple plays logged.

It definitely has that “one more time” factor. not quick and flowy like a lot of the modern games with stop and go action:

the fights, jumping rope and the speed bag, but it’s very addicting and a great theme.

Went through Louisville and if my mother-in-law hadn’t had a run in with Ali in the 80s, I’d have one sitting right next to it
