Picked up my second pin today. This is turning out to be quite the addicting hobby....
And you're just getting started. Hope you have room for 10 more pins...
So I picked up a project Jumping Jack not sure if I will keep and fix it up. While I was getting this my buddy who was helping me get it saw a Williams Expo and he bought it. I guess I got him hooked.
Day before yesterday. Have been waitin years for one to pop up within driving distance and feel like I hit the jackpot with how nice it is...
After a long search i finaly found a Bally Wizard in a great condition, specialy the playfield and backglass...
Even the original keys are there with it..
Playing meter say's 778 games played.??????
Got to do some work like new bumpercaps etc but that's no problem...
The previous owner was so kind to give me a Bally parts catalog also...
Having been in love with the space shuttle since I old enough to be in love with anything ... and then going on to spend nine years of my professional career working on the space shuttle program ... this was a must-have. And look, it finally followed me home last night...
And just when you think you can sell a game and drive home with an empty van, you stupidly check Pinside to see what's for sale in the MD,VA region because you are going to be driving home to Cleveland the next day and end up snagging an RBION. Now to load up the family and head back to CLE before tip off! Let's go Cavs!
Always wanted one - I'm pumped. Altek, Rottendog, overlay. Cabinet is worn, anybody have decals?
Those early Bally SS pins rock. Congrats!
The backglass on that Nitro Ground Shaker is awesome! Not just the condition, but the actual art on it. Totally boss man.
Need to get that battery off the board ASAP. Doesn't look too bad, but maybe a slight bit of acid damage. Make sure to neutralize it when you remove the battery.
Drove from the Indianapolis area to Wisconsin last Saturday to pick up a great condition Laser War from Harvs to go with our Stellar Wars. The playfield is one of the better condition ones I have seen, a lot of the metal pieces have been powder coated black, all leds, and a ton of fun to play!
Just picked up this gem of an EM - 1966 Williams 8Ball. Doesn't even seem to have a tag on pinside. Custom paint is really nice, but it would have been nice to remove the legs or at least mask them while painting.
Game play is fast on this one , It has 3 slingshots to help speed it up , Still working out the game rules atm , A fun game .
you get to play the 'bagatelle' at the end of each ball , It has speech and a 2 or 3 ball multiball .
It's a big day. Brought home my 2nd pin, ever... I plan on doing a full restoration, very slowly.

Really? I played one at Pintastic last year - thought it was pretty fun!
Very cool Catacomb...thing looks nice!! My buddy has one and he'll never sell it to me despite me constantly bugging him. It's just sitting in his garage "waiting for restoration" which he never even starts. I think the gameplay is very good on this pin including the bagatelle, considering it's an early Stern. Regret selling my Lightning a while back...good gameplay on that one also, even though Catacomb is much better. And who doesn't want to look at slutty girls? The artwork is great and provocative, and it's just an attractive game with a different color palate than most. Nice grab.
