Quoted from Colsond3:Some sword and weaponry show years ago. Went through a slight “sword collecting phase” back when I was involved in martial arts. It’s a replica that was like 150 bucks. Thing is like 4 feet long and sharp as hell though.
You got that right.
Pretty cool. Never seen another one until now.
Let me know if you need a second one for your topper. Lol.
Quoted from transprtr4u:Finally got another STNG....
Turned out to be an excellent example of this game.
Game came with painted ships , the interior of the cabinet looks like it was built yesterday.
Special thanks to:
@toasterman4 for the excellent job in packing and getting the game to depot, never seen a game packed so well.

Congrats man! That looks great! The Klingon ship isn’t my style but it fits the theme!
Enjoy the new toy!

I know I already posted this but Fish Tales is finally home at my place. And Mousin Around came back as well. Bad Cats went on loan to a friend. Was a busy Saturday

Looks like the pinball banks haven’t shut down LOL.
The powder shop I use and the owner have always been good to me, so I decided to throw my Safari in his showroom for a little while last week. They were excited when I just showed up with it while dropping off some other parts. His daughters were there that day and jumped right on it to play a few games.

If you’ve never played be prepared to get your ass roundhouse kicked in a way you’ve never thought we’re even imaginable.
Somehow it’s still a good game.
It’s strange…
Quoted from RonSS:Loving the selfie with no typing! Nice looking grab!
lol not sure how I missed that. Yea I sold my paragon that I had playfield swapped, new plastics, so on, and picked up a centaur to take its place.

Finally brought home this fully shopped 1966 Central Park EM from Ohio that I bought 17 months ago. Been sitting at my sister's house since. Can't wait to get it set up.

Great game. I added this to mine.
With all the rain we have had it was actually a much prettier drive than expected. LA traffic wasn't as bad as expected either.

Comes in handy sometimes, doesn't it?
I bought a CFTBL in Dallas TX, flew it home on one of our planes - I work for an air charter company.

Wow, that's really clean! Love me some Hyperball! I feel this game is really misunderstood and is a whole pile of fun!

forgot loud !
Quoted from transprtr4u:forgot loud !
For me that was actually part of the appeal. It's loud and fast and has some of the best sound effects of that era. Everything about Hyperball was in your face obnoxious and I freaking love it!
Really wish I hadn't sold mine. Whenever we had people over it ALWAYS got the most plays. people were drawn to the quirkiness of it.
Chris
I mean, I brought it home, but apparently I’m fixing these for customers now lol Local lady used to own an arcade, and this is the one she still owns. Everything seems to work besides all 4 flippers…

If you love some thing, set it free!
Woz has returned. A friend begged me to sell it back to him after a couple of months as his daughter was upset about it leaving his collection. I agreed with the provision that I get first option if he ever sold it again. He called me a week ago saying he’s ready to move it on again and offered it back.

Glad you got it back. If I sold a game to a friend and decided I had made a mistake... I'd suck it up, not expect my friend to give it back to me.

I think my choice of words there are poor and probably unfair. Begged might be making it sound worse than it actually was.

Cool, hope you got it back for the original price
I'd like to add a WOZ soon too! The first few times I played, I thought it was kinda floaty and not so fun. Then I had a really good game and realized that it can actually get pretty intense... Really fun game.

This probably describes what you might also say about the GNR that would go with your Rush and Metallica nicely.
Quoted from Vespula:This probably describes what you might also say about the GNR that would go with your Rush and Metallica nicely.
Played GNR and Rush last weekend at a bar, side by side. Rush was waaaay more fun. GNR felt cheap and flimsy imho.
Quoted from Canuck_pinhead:Played GNR and Rush last weekend at a bar, side by side. Rush was waaaay more fun. GNR felt cheap and flimsy imho.
I have both.
Rush you can just jump into and play. It's a ton of fun. Great flowy fast. It's stout and Ed Robertson Ged, and Alex and RayDay and team really brought it home for the Rush fan!
GNR suffers on location unless you own one or you've invested the time to learn the game, it's too deep for more than the on location eye candy, light show and playing a song which honestly after that I'd be done too. You'd go broke learning the game. Gunner is a rock concert experience you can't fully appreciate on location.
Plus I've never seen one on location that was setup or maintained. I am not sure what you meant by cheap and flimsy.. unless it's the condition of the game. Cheap and flimsy fits more Stern over JJP any day. But that's my perspective, obviously.
My first NIB that I had delivered to the door, then I hand carried it to the basement

WOZ can feel that way, but also with many shots and mechs and deep code. Once you get used to the feel, it’s a long-playing adventure like LOTR or Hobbit. WOZ was my very first game, and we had it for 4 years and loved it. Actually owned it twice. It was our only pin for a year, then we got GB, SM, and off we went. Once I studied the map showing how to advance toward the end of the game, it opened up. I played with much more purpose, which makes a big difference on WOZ. I suspect the same is true on GNR and Hobbit. WOZ is still our pick for the most dazzling-looking pinball. It has a different feel from most Stern pins or fast-flowy games. More like TZ, in a way. But worth owning to dive deep into the code!
