Quoted from bigguybbr:

I’m not a huge Rush fan, but I’m getting more into them. The music works surprisingly well with pinball, and long instrumentals with how flowy this game is pretty awesome.
I heard in Borg’s interview that he started on this when TMNT went on the line. There are a lot of shots on here that feels like he learned and refined what was so clunky on there, especially those upper loop/ramps shots. They also made a selectable diverted design that was simplified greatly over the TMNT one that constantly fails.

Rush is X men 2.0

Both great games.

Wish I could play an X-men that’s in good shape. Everyone I have ever come across on location has a blown out playfield with weak flippers.

Okay, second post here in about 4 weeks, it's official... I have a problem. By far the most ambitious project I've picked up to date. A 60's era William's Big Deal. I'm ready to take the dive, and as they say,"if you're going to get wet, you may as well go swimming". Needs a lot of love, but it has good bones.

Been wanting a nice Baywatch for awhile. This one fit the bill. Easy drive from Buffalo NY to Pittsburgh PA. Price was right as well. Playfield is exceptional. Cab and head have some minor blemishes but you’d expect that with an almost 30 pin. Very underrated game imo. So fun to shoot. Getting Chads code three chip rom set. Looks to greatly improve the code. Love it next to Twister.

It's rough but an absolute beauty, and yeah the original chrome flippers are intact. Just got it blown off going to start the basic cleanup during the game tonight. Already have a line on some of the parts I need after it's first once over.

BG Resto has your Big Deal back glass converted to Big Dick ( XXX rated)

The other Big Deal is different, too.

You might get hold of BG Resto and see if he might have the files for the original Big Deal back glass.

I agree the back glass can look really nice, this one however not so much. And actually I just might start a thread on the restoration of this. I take a lot of pictures along the way anyway, might be nice to log my progress and reach out to other piniders for help along the way. Might as well start now. Anyone have a back glass for a1963 William's "Big Deal"?

Coos Pinball has the art file and can print you a digital film so that you can scrape your art and apply the film. Similar to Bgresto process, but you don’t get a film already applied to a glass. Similarly priced but coos ships within two weeks and Bgresto takes 2-6 months to ship.

Lol. Riggedriggedrigged! Everything is rigged if I disagree with the outcome!

Figured I'd get some fire from that post. Did. Not. Disappoint.

Fwiw that last hold call, while a legitimate hold, was incredibly weak to call there. We were all deprived of a potentially more dramatic finish than we got because of it. It wasn't "rigged" -- it was legitimately a hold and the defender even admitted it was -- but that flag absolutely should have been picked up. A great game with a much softer ending than we all deserved to have seen. It is what it is. Cheffers certainly isn't on the chiefs payroll.

Always fun to see a jurisprudential debate on this site between strict construction of rules versus the intent of the rules committee.

Is going 5 mph over the limit speeding?

Should referees (judges) swallow their whistles in the last 5 minutes of play, or not?
