There's a thread here all about modifying the handle. I used flag pole mounts like a lot of others here. It allows you to lay the handle back to get further under the machine.

Baywatch is fun to play.

There should be an alternate BG, besides the Hoff.
Quoted from poppapin:There should be an alternate BG, besides the Hoff.
Maybe Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee
My plan got busted as i had this in sequoia for 2 days unnoticed by the mrs. Got my youngest son lined up to help on saturday ($100 and tank of gas) when she was going to movie with a friend who canceled on her so now shes home .We start doing the move when she says what the hell is that . Oh just a $8,000 cactus canyon se i tell her and we can go order those 4 new counter height bar stools you want on monday . OK she replys in dis belief on were its going to fit .
I was going to set the over under at 21 days with my son ( how long it takes her to discover a new game in the basement as we always make a small wager) but so much for that wager .
For some reason or another, my third pin (A 1990 “Dr Dude”) didn’t come back into my hands until about 17 years and 1000 games later.
Yet I’ve had sometimes dozens of other titles come back around.
Nostalgia is a wonderful thing.
Quoted from poppapin:There should be an alternate BG, besides the Hoff.
There are! Just email any JPEG image to GameOnGrafix with the dimensions of the translite you want, and he will make you a translite for about $50. I’ve had about 6 or 8 custom alternate translites made. They are very high quality. I just ordered ones for Halloween and BSD. I would get one with just the Baywatch logo if I ever get Baywatch. Very fun pin!

I’d be interested in seeing the one for BSD!

I had one made with this art, just the wolves logo, but it was a bit too minimalist or something even for me. I have another alternate, the mostly black/white one, and I’m gonna try this red one that’s totally different.

Got anything for who dunnit?
Quoted from DrWaz:Got anything for who dunnit?
I love Who Dunnit. I had a really nice one I paid just $2500 for. If I had it again, I would make a vintage Clue themed translite.
Finally, Bram Stokers Dracula.
It’s a rough machine with planked playfield but the price was right and the seller has done a lot of stuff to it.
All that remains is getting the sound working.
If it’s as good as they say I need to hunt down a used playfield in better shape and swap.

Enjoy the Hoff but mostly Pamela and Carmen. It seems you can find an alternate translite if the Hoff is staring at you a little too much! ;0)
Cheers,
Chris
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Is there a alternate translite for LW3? Looking for basically any design without Mel Gibson on it
Maybe try the LW3 club thread?

Vintage Clue would definitely be the way to go! I would be in for that.
Quoted from TopMoose:Look what arrived today! Braodway from circa 1933.
I know shipping has been slow , but this is ridiculous!
This was priced right, so it comes home.
Yup, not the deepest, but I’m surprised how fun it is.
Reminds me of taxi/diner, (well it’s the same designer)
I’m going to throw some lightning flippers in it and crank the difficulty to very hard.
The drug rat and the Colombian cocaine cartel alone make this a more than worthy purchase.

Fun pin! There aren’t enough pins that feature the word “cocaine” on the playfield plastic. Wasn’t Police Force supposed to be Batman or some other license?

Yes it was to be Bat Man.

More or less, according to the IPDB.

No Tommy Lee, but this would make a good translite

Years back, I had a slot exactly like this one, and today I traded in another.
He said it worked, then it got jammed. Not overly surprising. My nickle slot once
in a while will do the same. The difference is, the Nickle slot has it's backdoor key.
Pins/arcades I'll just drill out, but does anyone know if there might be a trick to
tripping those tumblers, or just bring it to a Locksmith?
You might be in the wrong place asking about that.
Check around the forum in another thread, good luck!

Nice nickle slot! My grandparents had a nice one when I was young. I should have asked them to let me keep it. No idea where it ended up. I have a blazing 777s full size slot I’m looking to trade for a nickle (or quarter) slot. I love those old heavy slots, they are also smaller and take up less space. Anyone have one they would sell/trade?
Quoted from northerndude:You might be in the wrong place asking about that.
With you giving good advice, this was actually kinda the right place to be asking..
I don't know a ton about older slots other than I like them. One thing I seem to see regularly in ads though, is if it has it's original lock it seems to be a selling point. So if you can pick it and get it keyed it's probably worthwhile.
Quoted from Pinkitten:Nice nickle slot!
This one is actually a Quarter Slot. The one I had for years is a Nickle.
You're right, those one arm bandits have weight to them.
777s are plugin ones, right? Many like those, but I myself like the
vintage mechanical ones best..
Cue Ball Wizard.
Needs some love, its had a hard life.
Brought this home Thursday from a great pinsider. It's not your typical "heavy wear" South Park. Another machine I've wanted for a long time. Was well worth the 7 hour round trip.
Quoted from Colsond3:Picked my DE Batman back up from a buddy, and threw another one in the car.

Great lunch bro, good to see you again!
I've got a Mills Skyscraper that I might sell.

Nice. On my list too. Seems like prices may be settling down a bit from the nonsense of the last few years.

Exactly, yep. Mine is a much more recent slot. There is a slot museum about an hour from me that restores and sells those old mechanical slots. They are very expensive, but they also can’t keep them in stock. They are often sold before they finish the restoration. I’ll prob try to get in line on one there. Quarters ideally.

You got the rare yellow cabinet version of No Fear! It is a fast game!

Congrats on NF!

Quoted from mollyspub:Congrats on NF!
I figured I’d give it a try. Gary was holding it for me already, as I was buying it as a gift for my bud that taught me how to paint cabinets, and is doing my homebrew Halloween with me.
My buddy ended up wanting Freddy instead, so I just gave that to him and delivered it last Thursday. Don’t like backing out of commitments, so I still took the NF. If I end up not liking it, probably won’t stay long. Getting ready to do some renovations.
We’ll see how many times I can bang that jump with the top flipper.
Quoted from Pinhead1982:Forgot to post, got it a week back.. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Nice! The color scheme on the LE is perfection. Do you have the sewing pattern for the fabric covering you use on your machines? I like how it protects the side art too.
Restored cabinet and pf swapped IJ. Will soon be sitting by TZ and TAFG.
Rescue 911 does not fit comfortably in an E320 wagon, but I got it home somehow.
After getting off my early shift at work I drove back and forth to my distributor to drop off a Baywatch and Last Action Hero and bring home a sweet condition Fire Queen and a 007 pro. 5 hours back and forth and a very sore back for the weekend. Moving pins used to be so easy in my 20s! Not so much any more
I’ve had over 100 different pins and this is somehow my first EM. Don’t know why I waited so long to get one, they’re so different and have a charm that solid states and DMD/modern games lack. Like playing a piece of history.
