Saw that one listed. I'm guessing the $4,444 was a placeholder!

I love this thread because this feeling just oozes through the pics. It’s a shared joy.

You get the $7775 deal?
Quoted from TroyS:That will clean up nice. Post a picture after you clean her up!
Cleaned it up, new posts, new rubber, and LED’s. Replacing the flippers, the slingshot coil, and bracket and will be done.

picked up a gottlieb Mibs from 1969
the last 5 ems i have picked up 4 have had painted cabinets. all have been 2" flipper games.
..and 2 of them have been "converted' from 2" to 3" flippers to modernise them.
so many great memories playing this game growing up.

I had to look up what 'Mibs' actually meant .
Nicely done amassing such a nostalgic collection of games.

Nice! Mine looked a lot like that too -
All the reproduction parts are out there to make it into a beautiful game if you choose to restore it - hardtops, playfields, etc. I opted for a CPR pf, will do the cab in the spring.

Great game!
I was at a show and kept coming back to this over and over and finally one popped up, only 400 miles away....so 800 miles later.....
First game I ever tried to clearcoat.

Nice slingshots!
Quoted from chalkup8:Animated backglass ?
yes, everytime you rollover one of the lanes a ball pops up in the backglass. usually there are 3 amounts of balls that award a replay (eg one replay at 8, 10 and 12)
getting all 12 is quite the challenge.
Silver Dollar Saloon by Fun Industries (previously known as J.F Frantz) manufactured sometime between the late 80's and mid 90's. This is the same company that produced the ABT style gun games of the 1920's such as US Marshal.
This is mostly a PM or pure mechanical with the only electricity being backlight GI provided by an incandescent bulb. Not needed for operation. This specific model offers both the amusement of the gun game with rankings based on number of hits with allowed shots and a reward dispensed from the top compartment in the form of gumball, candy or other.
This machine will be getting some love later this year. More details/pics to come.

Cool! I remember playing something similar at Woolworths diner in the London Square Mall in Eau Claire WI. What goes in the top area?

Two companies (several more names) have been making machines of this type for roughly 100 years so that doesn't surprise me. The top houses gumballs, candy, or other toys you would typically get from a quarter vending machine.
Wow! Nice pick up!

Welcome to club Baywatch
Quoted from Soulrider911:Found a real nice Baywatch
Baywatch is a really fun pin, especially the ramps. Tons of cool shots. One of Sega’s best, and they made several good ones!
Quoted from insight75:First Capcom machine. A little pricy but It looked fun so I said why not.
Lol, I love the casual BBB pickup. “Wasn’t in the market for it, but saw a neat looking Capcom pin I never really see anywhere, so I thought, why not? Seller said it’s somewhat uncommon. A little higher price than a typical pin, but worth a try!”
That’s awesome!

EM or SS?
I had a SS as my first ever pinball.

That’s a healthy trip! I once drove from DC to Lexington, KY to pickup a Big Game. Such a fun adventure, but it’s exhausting driving 11-12hrs two days in a row.

I drove 1600 miles round trip for the BBB. Worst part? My catalytic converter was stolen. They are so dumb. They should have taken what was in the car. It was worth a little more. Lol.

You drove 1600 miles to score a BBB and someone stole your catalytic converter? Sorta covers the spectrum of economic realities.

Indeed. Glad they took the cat vs the BBB. Have to look at the bright side.

It was a long haul and it’s basically two days burned driving, but that’s the sacrifice we make for pinball I was able to visit family while in town, so it was a win/win. Plus I didn’t see any other JP LEs west of the Mississippi. Last Friday I drove to Portland and back for a pin and next Friday I’m driving to Seattle for a game. These trips are making me painfully aware of high fuel prices today.
Quoted from Colsond3:Another one added to the wishlist February 2017. Going to be moved into the collection today.

That’s a good one for sure, good times.
Quoted from TheShaft:First NIB, couldn’t wipe the smile off my face on the drive home from the depot. Set it up in the garage before moving it into the house.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Some day I hope I get the chance for the new box small. A recent pin I got with 2000 plays had a piece of the box included, does that count?
