Quoted from doompin:Was looking for something to work on over the winter. Needed a project to bring back to life. Never expected it to be a Bally Transporter. Had zero expectations of ever seeing one of these in the wild let alone getting my hands on one, and for a reasonable price in working condition.
Congrats on a very fun game, had one for a pretty long time, nice rules, great artwork (specially the backglass)
Seems the crossover ramp is yellowed, it obscures the ball a little. I know they were reproduced, it's here on pinside.
Xenon is back in the herd after a 7-1/2 year hiatus. A very good friend picked up from the seller at York last week. This one has a nice cabinet and decent playfield that I may eventually replace or hardtop.
Torn about removing the uber-rare metal vacuum cleaner tube mod... its a tube shot that really sucks your balls. IMG_1522 (resized).JPGIMG_1523 (resized).JPGIMG_1524 (resized).JPG

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't hate that "mod". LOL

Hmm... the seller was from Phoenixville, PA. Are you fessing up ?

I think I have a second skateboard. If I can find it I’ll send it to you. I’m using mine is a topper
Quoted from epeabs:Only 50 minutes from home. Small bit of a project.

I'm glad you picked it up, I was sorely tempted.
Quoted from gdonovan:I'm glad you picked it up, I was sorely tempted.
I had to attempt it since it was in my backyard.

I have a worn Nitro playfield to restore for the Seawitch from scratch and a mint backglass already.

So jealous! Was looking for one myself. Does anyone know where to get the Xenon skate deck?

Some guy was making them a few years ago. Search through the archives. You might be able to find it.
And I just grabbed a funky little origami stand off of Amazon.

Freakin forgot my truck cab pic. Dammit!
Played the 4 player of this at pincinnati and lax.
Loved it.
This one came up and I snagged it.
Packed up bow and arrow and
Big Brave is taking its place in the physical therapy dept where I work.
Cleaning all the nicotine and goop off everything.
Cleaned legs and lower cabinet sides already
Totally awesome just melts that nicotine stain away.
Plays Great but I'm ocd about a full shop job when I purchase.
Met @rclikethecola.
Cool dude who showed me his great collection and got to play his paragon
Oh man I have wanted one of those for awhile.
Always an upper on new pin day.

There might be one or two at Expo. I know someone said they might bring one or two.
Quoted from guard:well I had never seen one untll today.
Saw your posts in the other thread , glad you grabbed it ... great shape congratulations...
Quoted from jaytrem:Splurged for an NIB Oktoberfest! Kids were surprised. Came with a little damage, but after some metal bending in the apron area it's now playing great.

Love that you already have the new Otto installed!
Quoted from Green-Machine:Hey guys…. This game isn’t in my possession. I’m considering buying it. Can anyone tell by this picture if this is a new playfield or a hardtop?[quoted image]
They have not made a Fun House hardtop yet.

Playfield looks cleaner then mine but sun faded.

Thanks! I pulled the trigger. I’m happy to finally add one to my collection
Before today our pins were all less than two years old. New today is a 1968 Royal Guard EM pin. Look great and plays good. Please pinball gods don’t let this be a mistake lol.

It's a fun game, and that one looks to be in exceptionally good condition.

Hope you are ok with the playfield. That looks like one of the old and “not so great quality” Illionios pinball playfields. The artwork was quite pixelated on those.
Quoted from jrpinball:It's a fun game, and that one looks to be in exceptionally good condition.
The game is in great shape, everything works and has all led lights. Glad we got it. Family already put on 25+ plays
Picked up our first EM! I think I picked a good one to start with
Only 35 mins away, so the closest pickup ever
Needs some love. Dirty, a small amount of ball wear and flipper wear to the playfield. Drop targets won't stay up, and the credit reel isn't indexing properly. Got 2 other projects in the pipeline...then I'm excited to start learning about EMs.

It is an older replacement. Not sure if it’s Illinois or not. I guess I’ll have to live with it.

I think you did well on that one, I approve
Had to miss the York show this year, but very excited to make up for it with two pickups this week.
Thanks to the pinsiders that helped make it happen!
In case anyone is wondering, the tape measure says Clint’s head is about 1/2” bigger than Hoff’s. Im not sure which game has bigger guns.

Quoted from jaytrem:2nd machine this week! One built a month ago, the other built right about 1000 months ago.

Hah. Saw that at York. I had a feeling it was going to you.
Quoted from jrpinball:Hah. Saw that at York. I had a feeling it was going to you.
Yup, I was messaging with Pete before the show. Told him if nobody wanted it at the show that I'd be happy to pick it up. Was very glad when it didn't sell. Cabinet and playfield are both in excellent shape. Backglass, not so much. Hopefully can get one made.
Next up is Loop the Loop! Need to get out to Mopar's place to pick it up, but waiting for ski season.
Quoted from freeplay3:Sat in a basement for the last 30+ years.
Very nice playfields on both games ,congrats .
First stop was in Kansas and although I didn’t see Dorothy or Toto, something even nicer jumped into the truck. More details to reveal later but I need to trek back to Missouri for the other pickup.
