So gorgeous. Sold my original to fund the Mermaid. 5 weeks into being paid in full. Maybe another 5-20 weeks before arrival, who knows. Beautiful game!
Helped a friend unload these into his garage when he got home from picking them up.

Acquired my two favorite Lawlor games along with Flash Gordon to keep my Classic Sterns company. Whirlwind basically looks new, the cab art is all original. I’m not sure what condition Flash is in because it keeps punching me in the face every time I play it.

I’ve been wanting a Shadow for awhile now. Looks like you had her shipped. It would have been nice if they put some cardboard under the straps to help protect that nice cab.

I gotta think an older Jeep Cherokee like that would make a perfect one pin hauler. I used to own one before getting into pinball. Low tailgate and high hatch. Seems like the perfect height for those legs in and out. How’s the fit front to back with the bench seat folded?
My very first pin (a Gottlieb Genesis) was hauled "home" in a 99 Cherokee Classic, which was also my first car. It fit very easily. Man I miss that Jeep...

I had a black with orange/red pinstripe 91’ Cherokee Sport. Loved that thing. Fuel injected straight six ran like a tank. My first-ish car too!

Yep - there's absolutely a reason they kept that 4.0 around as long as they did across several owners!
I might be bringing home another Solid State Classic this weekend... unfortunately I gotta help the guy un-bury it from the back of his garage.
We shall see....

On the road for 4 hours and have another 4.5 hours to go… to the first stop in North Carolina
The plan was to pickup up one machine but then a wish list game popped up so I decided to git this little Dogies along to its new home in Maryland and make a Pennsylvania stop before I go home.
Gonna be a 26 hour-ish, 1500 mile trip. Stay tuned for more updates. 79553BBA-62A3-460B-9E78-FC0CC99A4E44 (resized).jpeg098F5B3F-C3A7-42B2-AC2B-CC37FE945D02 (resized).jpeg
Are these those Highway Sliders that allow you to drive home with the game halfway out the back?
Congrats. Demo Man is a super fun shooter with great ramps and very easy rules to follow. I personally enjoyed using the high handles. I’ve installed them on all my pins.

Cool! I was just telling a friend yesterday that in all my years of being around pins, I don't think I've ever seen a "Dogies".
Made my first pick up for this very nice restored Flash Gordon. I have owned this title four times in the past and this is the nicest example so far. Now I am traveling North in Carolina and back to Maryland to drop off Dogies and then to pick up game # 2.

Would love to see more pics of the powder coat on your Rush. Never thought about white…but it looks like it might go well with the cabinet.
Stop # 3 was 2 hours up the road in Lancaster, PA to pickup up this nice 1964 Williams Stop N Go that was not listed for sale but was in a picture of another game listed for sale. The seller said he would sell and his price was very fair. It pays to be a pest and ask. Worst they can say is NFS.
Just now ready to leave Lancaster at 9:40pm. Trip is right at 24 hours but am still 8 hours from home and will finish around 1,540 miles. Yes, I do enjoy this craziness.

At first I thought this was a foreign game until I read the backbox upside down.

AlienLV out and SWLE in. Much happier now. 43 lifetime plays oh yeah!!!

43 lifetime plays? I just don't understand people. I usually put 43 plays on a new-to-me machine on in the first 2 days! Glad you rescued it!

Agreed. I'll get that in a week or two with a new title I'm trying to get a handle on.

I don't get that collector mentality either, go collect Funko pops with those play times
Today we brought home our first pinball machine: Mr. & Mrs. Pacman, Bally 1982
No clue what we’ve gotten ourselves into!
It is missing the keys, but we’ve managed to jiggle the locks (nail file youtube tutorial) to open the coin box and electrical panel.
She needs some work, and wasn’t necessarily what we were looking for, but hey, the price was right and we couldn’t pass up the deal to own our first real machine. We have an “ArcadeUp” brand Star Wars machine, and it’s really cool, but there’s just something special about hitting a live (not computer/electronic) ball with actual flippers!
So besides missing keys, we’ve found a blown fuse, so we can’t actually play her yet! We’re hoping that it’s just a blown fuse. Her mpu board was upgraded already, so we don’t need to do that.
She seems pretty solid otherwise. She has some cosmetic dings (don’t we all?!?) and we think the playfield needs refinished (lacquered?) before she gets a lot of play. Probably give her a tune up as well. The picture shows the glass missing, but we do have it, just removed it to get to the fuses.
We’re her 4th owner. She was bought in the 1990’s in near new condition by a friend of a friend’s grandfather (the second owner) from where I think may have been an arcade or a novelty shop. She was handed down to the friend of a friend (the third owner) where she was well loved. They repurposed the room where she lived, and she had quit working reliably, so it was time to move her along and that’s how we ended up with her.
Anyways, we’re super excited to add a pinball machine to our arcade room!
Mr/MS Pac is such a fun and underappreciated game. Thank you for posting this! The rules are intimidating at first but once you figure out how to earn moves and get around in the maze, the game is unique and fun at parties. If anyone that owns this game wants to increase the difficulty a lot, remove the gate under the right slingshot.

That looks nice. Proceed with caution if you're new to the hobby. Something caused that fuse to blow. Maybe post your location, and see if a local pinhead can assist you. The playfield could surely use a cleaning and waxing, but not lacquering! Good luck, and check in here often as you get to working on the game. Lots of help here.

We’re definately not doing anything to the playfield until we know exactly what to apply! I thought lacquer didn’t seen appropriate, but wasn’t sure what to use.
Husband is the brains behind fixing electronics. While he’s never worked on pinball, he’s a electronics whiz kid for a living. He’s successfully worked on our vintage pachinko machines.
Also, adult son is a geek too and they both started troubleshooting as soon as we got it unloaded. Additionally, our son is friends with pinheads and played tourny pinball in San Francisco when he lived there. One of his friends referred us to this page, but I had already joined the day before
We’re in Auburn Washington, USA (south of Seattle, just North of Tacoma.
Thanks for the advice!!!
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Got this Ultra VP 6.0. I only have real machines, so this was a first for me, it is a pretty cool addition. I mostly use it for Taxi, Diner, Attack from Mars, and Addams Family
Anyone ever want to come see it in person is welcome to[quoted image]
Where is in person? I’m curious about VP.

Okemos, MI, come on over, PM anytime
I have built two 'mini' machines at this point, looking for an excuse to build a third! I love mine and agree they very much compliment a good pin lineup- because you can have an ecclectic lineup but always have the classics on hand. That Taxi game in particular I think plays better than the real Taxi I owned Enjoy sir!!
