A buddy of mine, Larry Elmore, did the back glass art. Nicest guy in the world by the way, if he is ever in your area at a convention or whatever, I am sure he would sign it for you.

And now it's even playable, my first em pinball i fixed!

1. fuse for playfield light was loose
2. fixed closed connection on score motor (it was not stopping with rotating)
3. dirty stepper motors
4. and last but most important, closed connection found on tilt, so i never could start a game (and it did not show tilt)

Pretty simple stuff once you get the hang of it. Sometimes you just gotta dig in...

When you start going thru all those score reels is when it really gets tedious. But they are all the same. Pretty much.

Congrats!

A few days ago... Needs done cleaning and bulbs replaced.

Yo!

"OOH! TAXI!" Nice pick up

#2365 3 years ago

Oh hello yeah baby!! ST premium!!

No. IT was not bought at the show. Came out of a private collection and was way nicer than those at the show. TX...TX...TX...

Nice Bill....now I'll have to stop by and set the high score after Tom's done telling you what imperfections it has. LOL

Brought this puppy home...dark garage with an auto lift that was conveniently painted black to match the lurky darkness, which cost me a 3-inch gash in my head and some blood loss. Ironic given the title. And damn it Forceflow!!! Now I have to make another keychain LOL.

EDIT: Sorry for the ultra crappy photos. They didn't look like that on my phone.

Well, since you picked up a Devil's Dare before I did, the keychain can be yours again since I can't put it to immediate use

Now R911's on the other hand--those I seem to have coming out of my ears

It's all good...I can make another one easily. R911's a cool game...even though the helicopter doesn't work on half of them that you come across.

It is an interesting mechanical design, but it's a shame that it depends upon the right amount of friction for the whole thing to work properly

#2372 3 years ago

It's amazing the number of things in life that require the right amount of friction to work properly.

Glad you found another one. I know you really wanted the one back you sold me, but I still to this day love it too much to let it go to anybody and you were always my first candidate to sell it back to if it came to that as promised back then. Looks like your new one has a nicer playfield too. Awesome!

Enjoy it and it's corny/cool robotic voice-ness.

The other one is still in good hands and it sure isn't lonely!

There's always another one out there somewhere!!! Just have to be at the right place at the right time. Glad I was able to give you a great deal on the first one...and you still have it.

And glancing back at your photo....make sure you have those pins run through a surge protector unless you want to replace a bunch of boards in one shot should your house get a jolt!!!

Another one just popped up in Boston on CL 10 minutes ago.

Looks pretty decent actually, but $950 with a flaky BG is a bit much. I like the rifles in the background of his 4th photo, and I'm not sure what he "washed down" the playfield with. Hopefully CP-100, and not a bucket and sponge. LMAO

Yeah...you know it's bad news when someone says they "washed" the game.

Brought this beauty home today. Not a light machine to move.image_(resized).jpeg

My buddy Pike says the only game in his collection heavier than Genie is Hercules, and he has over 150 games.

Joined the EM club today. It also might have been my first bargain. That might be tough pic to guess from.

Missed out on a Flash Gordon and a 300 mile drive, but as fate would have it, got this for free.

Super Spin. Nice pick up. Paw prints at no extra charge.
A free Taxi?!? Wow.

#2386 3 years ago

It a Gottlieb Super Spin. Backglass is great. It has a few mice nests but has the books, coin box, and key. All for 60 bucks. Guy said he had 30 calls after I talked to him. Stand-up guy. I forgot to ask his name. I can't wait to tear into it.
